After visiting a fantastic Piano bar in New Orleans I was on a quest to find something similar near the Conejo Valley. I was so excited to find Fiamme. As a surprise early present I took my SO....
I really wish i could find a way to get my $45 wasted bucks and my 1.5 hours back. The pianos were amplified and ported through the room though it was not needed and distorted the sound. It would have been wonderful if the performers could sing better. And while I realize it was supposed to be improv and funny I've never thought that 'Sweet Caroline' should be accompanied by one of the performers rubbing his nether regions.
Then there's the food... The menu was sparse and we just ended up ordering the Fiamme CHEESEburger, The burger was ok, but not $11 dollars ok. Not that we were charged $11. One burger came back at $14 on the bill and $15.50 for the other. When questioned we were informed its because it was extra for cheese.... on their cheese burger.
In the hour and a half we were there, there may have been a total of 12 patrons on a Friday night
So, the music sucked, the sound sucked, the food was ok and they tried to rip us off. We shall not be returning.
