I agree that the Festival Ballet Theatre is expensive. And I also agree they are much more interested in money. When I requested to speak to a manager or supervisor about a complaint, the customer representatve for the Festival Ballet Theatre gave me a false email address and confirmed it. Did she think I was not going to find out about it? Well, apparently I got their correct email address on their website. I think that was quite surprising, don't you? more

We had an unfortunate and regrettable experience with the Southland Ballet Academy in Irvine, which is part of the Festival Ballet Theatre. We attended a recital in June 2011 for a first time performance pre-ballet recital of one of our family member. It was her first performance ever. Everything was paid for, including her gown ($75), recital tickets ($20 each), and her classes. The company is expensive, so you would assume they would offer good service. However, appallingly, the company excluded her name from the recital program and check-in list. No apology was given by her teacher or the art director to the parents and family attendees. Nothing was offered to compensate for the Festival Ballet Theatre's mistake. Their unprofessional, disrespectful, poor customer service, and shocking response to their mistake was clearly an indication that they cared less for the customer and more on collecting the customers money. So, please BEWARE. We hope this experience will not happen again. more
