I have had the pleasure of dining and staying at many highly regarded and rated properties throughout the world, but this was my absolute favorite. Celebrating my husband's 50th birthday here was simply the best. The restaurant service, food and presentation are superb and the wine list features not only great wines but some incredible and rare vintages. After dinner, the staff served us champagne and dessert in our private garden patio. Our suite was grand- replete with clever decor touches, beautiful antique pieces and a bathroom in which I would have been happy to spend the rest of my life! All this and a gentle, peaceful pace and attitude. It's easy to find places with one or two exceptional features, but very unusual to find such consistent excellence, across the board. Bravo!
