Fayette Academy of Martial Arts

I joined the Fayette Academy of Martial Arts Cardio-Kickboxing class at the invitation of a friend. I LOVE IT! In general, I have always thought of myself as uncoordinated, having two left feet, and not athletic in the least. However, participating in this class has really helped me in all those areas. Can't say I've perfected anything, but I'm better than I was when I started almost 5 months ago.\r \r Cardio-Kickboxing is the ""fastest"" one hour workout I have ever participated in. We are constantly moving. You know you've had a workout!\r \r I like the environment as well. No one is trying to ""out-fashion"" the next person. We're all there to better ourselves, and we are having fun doing it! more

I have enjoyed my journey into the Tai Chi experience under the expert tutelage of Eric Lunsford,Fayette Academy of Martial Arts.  The small classes taught with patience have made those of us who had little or no knowledge of Tai Chi comfortable with the steady progress that we're making each week. more

I love the class, it is very personal. I never feel pressured to do anything, only encouraged. I am very happy to have found it, because the instructor is the best and the other class members are great. Plus, it hurts so GOOD! more

Any class you decide to take at this academy is bound to be fun, educational, stress-relieving and well-worth the price(which is a frugal price).\r \r If you want to learn how to defend yourself, prepare yourself mentally and have an affinity for martial arts, I would definitely recommend you to go here. The classes are great, even if you just want an outlet for your emotions or want to lose some pounds.\r I've been going here for a few years, and I've had nothing but positive experiences at this school.\r I can't condense my graditude and graciousness to this school with a short review. I feel so good when I finish my Tai Chi class. I am relaxed but energized. I feel glad that I have made time in my schedule to go to class. It is a work out without leaving me exhausted.\r People of all ages should take Tai Chi and I think Fayette Academy of Martial Arts is the BEST place to take it!!! The instructor is knowledgeable and very patient. He is a caring person and is interested in each person who attends any of his classes. \r Check it out! more

After many months I still look forward to each class. Actually FUN while working your entire body.. ..noticeable improvement in my cardio, strength, endurance, figure... great stress reliever.....knowledgeable, motivating, experienced, patient instructor. Convenient location at intersection of Hwy 314 and 279. I highly recommend it!\r \r more

Great workout. Great people. I've been in other kickboxing classes and this one tops. The instruction is excellent and you work up a sweat. I'm all about burning calories and toning the body and you get all of that in the class. LUV IT! more
