We were hit hard by the tornado in April. We had over 150 trees taken out by the winds. Tim who is the owner of Arbormax was in our neighborhood less than an hour after the tornad...

Excellent Experience 5/10/2007

I found Arbormax Tree Service to be very professional. I had a Pecan tree in the back corner of my yard in a tight location. The owner of Arbormax was very responsive and informative, offering me an expanation and a quote. The quote, by the way, was better than the previous three quotes that I had received. Within a week the tree and stump were removed. His crew was very respectful and professional, removing the tree within two hours of arriving at my home. I would definitely recommend Arbormax to anyone looking for a high level of customer service, professionalism, and skill. Pros: reasonable price, experienced crew, punctuality more

They treat their customers right. 4/11/2007

Tim and his crew are good guys who pleasantly showed up earlier than expected and were done quickly. They removed a large mature tree without any damage to surrounding dogwoods and never got close to the house (a real possibility, given the location of the tree). They obviously know what they're doing, and I confidently recommend them to anyone. Nice job, Tim! Pros: Estimate was dead on. The crew left everything really clean. more

They removed a large mature tree without any damage to surrounding dogwoods and never got close to the house (a real possibility, given the location of the tree). Good guys to work with 3/29/2007

I called on Friday, Tim gave me an estimate on Saturday, and the trees were gone on Sunday. Couldn't be happier with the service they provided. I was expecting them to provide stump removal services (based on the Editorial Description of the company), but was told that they do not provide that service. For the price and speed of work, I'd definitely recommend to friends and family. more

I found them right here on city search . All the reviews are accurate. Tim showed up on a Sunday, at my request. To give an estimate. After telling him I received several other estimates. He inquired who had provided them. I gave him a written estimate from one of his competetors. He said it was standard procedure to knock 10% off the lowest bid. So instead of paying $1275 . I paid $1125 and at the end of the job he said " lets just make it an even $1100." But price wasn't the only thing. These guys work HARD!!!!!! They are like squirrels with chainsaws, So fast . We had several trees removed, and every piece was removed by hand to prevent lawn damage at my request. The clean up was immaculate too. Thank You Arbormax Pros: Cant' say enough. more

Saved my cat!!! 3/7/2007

My cat ran about 50 feet up in a tree, far beyond the reach of a ladder. I called Arbormax and they were at my house within an hour and a half. The guy who climbed up and got my cat was in the middle of his day off but showed up anyway. They even took out some dead branches on the way down! more

Arbormax was AMAZING! We've had tree work done by other companies in the past that were good, but Arbormax beats them all! They were fast, polite, excellent at their work and cheaper than anyone else! Arbormax tree service is the BEST tree removal service in Raleigh and the surrounding areas. They are very concerned about customer satisfaction. Their prices are the lowest around. We called to have an estimate and the next day they were at our house removing trees. When they were done they cleaned up all of the mess without haste. The men at Arbormax are VERY VERY good at what they do. If you want trees removed without damage to your house or belongnings, then you MUST CALL ARBORMAX!!!!! I was 110% satisfied with this service!!! Thier professional attitude made for a WONDERFUL tree removal experience.
