Farrell's Stump Grinding

This is the first time I write a review on Citysearch but the level of service at Arbormax was so outstanding I was compelled to write a review. First of all communication with Tim Robbins was excellent which is very rare in the home improvement business, everytime I called him I got him and whenever he said he or his guys would be there, they were. The day of his estimate he had no problem bringing his price down to significantly beat the estimate I had received from another reputable tree company, he gave me no reason not to hire him. Next, came the day of the tree removal, I had lots of 'sticks' being removed and one mangled looking dogwood I wanted to save, even though working around the dogwood made the job harder for the guys they were painstakingly careful to protect it from the trees that were coming down. Then I had this one extraordinarily tall pine tree that this fearless guy climbed all the way up to trim down and while he was up there it started pouring! He stayed up there in the rain with his chainsaw until the job was done! Amazing! They cleared about 21 trees (skinny ones) in a couple of hours and the next day the stump grinder came and finished the job up. I highly recommend them. I wish more companies worked like this one. Awesome service! Tim came by the same day that I called and gave me a written estimate. He did all the work promised and then some. I'm VERY impressed with this company! Within an hour of my call for an estimate, Tim was at my house checking out the tree fallen in my yard. The estimate provided was low, almost 1/3 the estimate offered by another tree service. The crew came and removed the entire tree in a very short time and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I will definitely call them again if I have other tree issues. Pros: Good price, friendly, fast more

Holy cow! These guys are the bravest individuals I've ever seen. We had an extremly dead, very large Pine next to our house. We used an internet referal service and were connected with three local tree services. Arbormax and two others. Arbormax was the quickest to respond the only one to give a descent price, and the only company that was sure from the begining how the tree would come down. The other two said there could be a variation in the technique. Tim said there was only one way to safely get the tree to the ground. It went EXACTLY how he said it would and i mean Exactly. Not to mention, they were the only company that had workers comp. I can't say enough about these guys. The professionalism and overall quality was just "satisfying". On time, good pricing, highly skilled employees, extremely polite, FANtastic!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: Best price, Insured, etc... more

Arbormax saved my cat from a tree! Tiger was 35 feet up a tree for almost 48 hours and was becoming weak. Arbormax came quickly and was able to rescue her. Tim and his crew were professional and timely. We plan to use them again (hopefully for tree trimming instead of rescuing our cat!) Thank you Tim. Pros: They came quickly and that was very important to us! more

We would recommend Tim and his crew from Arbormax to anyone needing trees removed or trimmed. They were professional, courteous, and their price was fair. We had trees removed last week and they did an awesome job! Many of the trees were precariously close to our house. A couple of the pines were almost 100' tall. The best part of the job was the show put on by the crew as they expertly dropped the trees. We even set up chairs for us and the neighbors to sit and watch. We were concerned that some of our neighbors would be upset by the quantity of trees removed, but with Tim's help we made smart decisions that all of our neighbors we've spoken to have been thoroughly impressed with. Many of them have hired Arbormax to remove trees in their own yards! more

The turnaround time was amazing. Also worth mentioning...what great service! Overall a great group of guys. We have 4 other trees we plan to remove, we know who to call first. We were extremely impressed/satisfied with this company. Tim gave us the best rate and quickly came out to cut down seventeen large pines on our tiny lot. These guys operate with integrity and really go above and beyond what I have come to expect from a business these days. I found Arbormax Tree Service to be very professional. I had a Pecan tree in the back corner of my yard in a tight location. The owner of Arbormax was very responsive and informative, offering me an expanation and a quote. The quote, by the way, was better than the previous three quotes that I had received. Within a week the tree and stump were removed. His crew was very respectful and professional, removing the tree within two hours of arriving at my home.
