Love this place!! 9/3/2008

We went to Farrelli's for the first time last week. What a unique experience. Seeing a movie like this is so convenient and enjoyable. We didn't have high expectations for the food, but we were really pleasantly surprised. Everything we ate was delicious. The servers do a great job walking the line between servicing your needs and trying not to interrupt you too much. They have these cool coaster lights that you light up when you need something, otherwise they try not to bother you. They show mostly current movies but are starting a classic movie series with some really great classic movies to see again on the big screen. We will definitely be back for several of those. There is no place in Arizona to see classics on the big screen. Keep up the good work, Farrelli's! Pros: Variety of movies, delicious food, nice people, cool movie drinks, convenient location Cons: Can't think of any more

The absolute BEST way to see a movie!!! 8/25/2008

We have been going to Farrelli's since they opened 7 years ago and have never once had a bad service experience like the above reviewer. In fact, they have very little employee turnover and we look forward to seeing the same staff every time we come in. My favorite menu item is their signature dish Chicken Farrelli with artichokes and mushrooms and they have this great Australian sauvignon blanc wine that I love. And, they have the most excellent burger and retro wedge salad.\r \r They are able to show movies that have been out about a month or two and recently started doing some great classic series. We never go see movies in their first weeks of release anyways. We don't like the crowds and we like to see what gets good reviews and good word of mouth. So by the time they get the movies, it is usually perfect for us.\r \r We bought out one of their theatres and had my husband's 40th birthday party there last year and it was great. We put a powerpoint presentation of pictures of him on their huge 12' screen and had a DJ come in and play dance music and karaoke. It was a blast. I guess they do all kinds of meetings and parties there and can get any type of entertainment too.\r \r You should absolutely try this place out. We can't believe there aren't places like this all over the country because it is the only way we go to see movies now. Pros: Great food, full bar, nice staff, can make reservations more

Great place for a proposal 4/22/2008

In 2005 a friend told my fiance' and I about this place. We checked it out and have been back numerous times. One of those times my current husband of 2 years today proposed to me. Before the movie he asked to have the proposal put on the screen. It came up on the screen with a dozen roses as my mouth was full of shrimp parmesean (which was delicious). They were very attentive and even gave us free chardoney during the film. I have never had a bad experience at this place. 04/22/2008 Pros: Service, Ambience, Food,,,,,Atmosphere Cons: Needs a better variety of movies more

Horrible customer Service 10/2/2007

I've been to this theater twice now, and both times the service was awful. The waiters all seem to have some kind of attitude problem. The last time I went was because my work place decided to have one of our meetings there and still the service was horrible. We never recieved refills throughout the movie except when one of us got up and took the water pitcher from one of the back far tables. Also, two people in our party had their orders messed up, one of them had to wait 30mins for them to bring back her meal and didn't recieve any sort of apology or anything. The other person, they didn't take care of til the movie was almost over. After the movie was over and we were leaving our head manager went to talk to the owner of the resturant about it and he said ""did you turn on the light?"" (which was referring to this little red light thing they give you that the servers are supposed to respond to) and we had but there were no servers out to see the red light, they were all in the back with their feet up! (I only know this because one of our other managers went storming into the back to get them to come out and get everyone who hadn't ordered water some refills) and the owner simply said ""well theres nothing I can do about it"" Which stinks because we were a company out to have some fun and they totally stiffed us. I DO NOT recommend this place as a company get together spot, or even just a place to go for a good time. It's expensive and the waiters are rude. Pros: Nice comfy chairs and good sound system Cons: expensive food, rude and unattentive servers more
