Family Community Church

I have been a member of Family Community Church for over 10 years now. Sometimes I catch myself wondering where I would be without the body of Christ, without Family Community Church- and my answer has always been, “I have no idea!” I love God and I love serving Him and Family Community Church gives me the perfect opportunity to do just that! more

I have been coming to this church for a few weeks now. I first went there for their Christmas Eve night service and recently started attending regularly. This church offers great child care classes, my fiance's 2 year old son has started thanking god for people in his life. Since I have been going to this church regularly things have been getting better in my life. Not only in my professional life but in my everyday life as well. My fiance and I are closer than ever and I really believe this church has made a positive impact on the both of us. The Pastor has a great ability to connect with the members and everyone is really welcoming. Since the few times I have been there, people are already calling me by name and conversing with me. I would recommend this church to anyone. more

I feel so at home at this church, the…\r \r I feel so at home at this church, the members there are so friendly and inviting.\r \r They have Morning and evening services on Sunday at 11am & 6pm which is convenient for people with busy schedules. They also have a Tuesday evening service that I love because it is always great education in the word. Family Community Church is all about family. If you have a family, you can get involved as a family; if you don't have a family, you will after getting involved at this church because they are all one big loving family.\r \r Another great thing for those with children and grandchildren is they have nursery and classes designed just for them during all services. My granddaughters can't wait to go - they love it!! \r \r There are many classes including bible study Sunday morning; women's and men's fellowship; classes on how to arrange your finances and get out of debt, parenting classes and so many others.\r \r FCC is a missions minded church so there are many ways to get involved in helping\r \r bring the word to the world. This church really sucks! The atmosphere of this church is filled up with pent up stress. Plus the Pastor there is greedy and He is a False Prophet. Also It's just like what DeziLove916S said Because I experience this too as well. If you want to know where the money is going you can request a private meeting with the dictator or Pastor (both the same person.) Just be prepared to get the run around. The man got his hand in many business ventures from Sacramento insights, the bookstore, the daycare, the news paper and his business consulting company. ""It takes money to fund the gospel"" is what they will say but lets not talk about his trips to Texas or flying his family around. The private school tuition for his grandkids, the house, all his kids are employed through the church. There is a guilt message at every offering time, its such a shame. The preaching is repeative... Be consistent, check with God, read ur bible, but the messages are often manipulated and he jumps around the bible. He doesn't give any background history he will tell a personal story about himself instead. P.S. When your there inside the church they say your family but when your outside of the church or dont come to church, they don't treat you like family and they don't even try to have a real family relationship with you like a real family does and plus they talk crap about you behind your back. The people here are at this church are fake and It's a dang shame! more

I have had a VERY hard life, drugs, alcohol and all kinds of abuse. In attemepting to get my life on track I went to school. I had to write a paper on judgement and bias and thought what better place to go then a church. I went to Family Community because it was the closest to me.... I walked in the door prepared to be judged. What i experienced was someting so far beyond that.... love and acceptance. From the time the music started I felt something and cried through the entire service. I have never felt or experienced anything like that in my life. From that moment on, my life began to change. I started attending Family Community and life just keeps getting better. I am an asset to society, I am loved and accepted by God and my church family. I love the Pastor and his family...his daughters have been there for me every step of my journey. My kids are in a stable, loving environment and have a hope and a future. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have come in to write about judgement and bias and all I found was love, acceptance and Jesus! more

The messages, teachings, ministries, events and outreaches just keep getting better and better at Family Community Church. My husband and I have been here for over 14 years and our lives are continuing to change for the better. The Word of God is preached, observed, taught and lived and we are encouraged to Live for God. What a blessing this awesome church is. Thanks be to God. more

This church is a great church, from the first day I attended I felt like family, everyone is friendly and welcoming and welcomes you to get involved in the church right a way, which I love. Pastor Bill is a great man of God and a true pastor. They have AWESOME kids classes and I love how involved they have been in the community, they have been here over 25 years. North Highlands has surely benefited and seen a great transformation as a result of Family Community. God Bless Pastor Krause, his family and the great congregation for all the investment they impart to people and the community. more

I love my church and I love my Pastor and my Brothers and Sisters this church is based on the word of God, the Spirit of God, and the Love of God, if your looking for spirit filled church please do not pass this one up. more

I have been going to Family Community Church for about 2 years now. I really enjoy the friendly, welcoming people and the pastor. He is an excellent speaker and an amazing Man of God. He is a true believer of God and a promoter of people. I also very much enjoy the praise and worship time in each service. They and we get to sing wonderful, uplifting, contemporary Christian music, often including songs heard on the radio. They also have a wonderful childcare program with activities for every age level that is held during services as well as Monday through Friday. more

I grew up in church, but never knew what a real ""church family"" was until I came to Family Community Church. I have grown spiritually by the teaching and preaching of the Word of God and I have grown in many other areas by the fellowship of the congregation. The activities and projects that I've had the privilege of being a part of have helped me gain skills and confidence I never knew was possible. I've also gained a true passion for reading my Bible and getting to know God more. This is truly one of the finest, most loving churches I've ever experienced. more

What's so disturbing about this church, is you're told you don't love God if you don't give them ""money"". That's what this church is all about. It's all about the Pastor, he has his entorage of ""body guards"" why?, did Jesus? He puts himself above God. God is not in this church. I have been attending a wonderful church with 4K in their congregation and the Pastor is strickly about the bible. Jesus teachers to watch out for false prophets. I don't think I need to say more. I had to give it 1 star rating, actually, I wouldn't even give it that. more

Family Community Church is a good church! I have been here for 5 years, and can honestly say that my life is so much better now than it was before I came. Pastor Bill Krause is a good preacher, a man of integrity, and an example of living a life sold out to Jesus. The people of the church are warm and welcoming. That was the case over 5 years ago when I walked through the doors the first time. It is still the case today. I have made friends who are now as close as family. They love me and have been there for me in the good and bad times. I literally look forward to being in church. I feel privileged that God put me at ""FCC""! :) more

well i did love the church but did not like the feeling i had there it was like everyone was in there own click . an thats not right, my hubby talks in confidence to paster tells everyone my hubbys info to his kids .hes in army so hubby tells paster an talks to him as man of god and paster gets political about it even though they pray for them., all services in military every week , i helped out for over a year in nursery they kick me out after i have twins , i worked the book store they kicked me out that church was the most i spent there hoping to trust ., i they knew i was having twins gave me a shower never talked to me after i had my babies,. i was on bed rest ,no one came to c me or help out , my deciflier never called me after i was 8 months prego .,they never came to hospital to pray for me i was hurting bad even hemeridged,-.lost alot of blood could of died . the church right now is so wraped up in money collecting money they lost touch of what church is all about GOD and even though paster had afair with others at church put his son up there to aplogize and did not do the same for him self after cought wind of the son yes i did not want my girl to be a victim of rape along with all the other teenagers there who had relations with pasters son i loved that church but right now there wrong for many resons., giving everyone a cold shoulder who had to leave for no reson at all , never came to visit our home to c whats going or even answered any of my hubbys questions about the things that he needed in the church this is not a great church but the church is wraped up in drama, money right now you go there u can get wraped up whats going on in church not in god . god please bless this church let the staff see and paster see that the church needs help and needs to c what the commuity needs along with witnessing what the commuity needs is hands on help along with a single mother of four who works her butt off who needs help herself who does everything for everyone eles and no one helps her even paster god that needs to change here and now it will said in your name amen. still praing for church to change more

My experience here was negative, and that's ok. I have a right to express that. There is a definite twisting of scripture taught in this church. Critical thinking is discouraged, and too much emphasis is put on the pastor and not enough emphasis is put on Christ. Make no mistake...there are some wonderful people in this church. However, there is a spirit of condemnation, oppression, and elitism there that has many people in spiritual bondage. My message for everyone is that God's 'blessings' are given freely, and they are not limited to the four walls of any one church. God's blessings only come through and by the one true Christ, not through any pastor, man, or system. There is no rank in God's Kingdom, there is no membership fee, there are no 'levels' and there certainly is no condemnation. You don't seek God's blessings... you seek God. There are many great churches in the Sacramento area, and they are connected and supportive of one and other. Family Community Church is not involved with any local ministries at all, and that really says it all. This whole church needs a whole new understanding of grace, and they need to know that you do not put your faith in any one man. I chose to seek God and go where He wanted me and I made that decision using my own God-given free will. However, I am no better or worse than any other Christian for doing so. I love and I serve my Lord. I am blessed, I am happy, and my life has never been better than it is right now. I am a sinner who was saved by grace, and I do not second-guess my thoughts and decisions. I do not require the approval of any man but Christ (and neither should any other Christian.) I am no longer afraid to make a mistake, a wrong decision, or a wrong step, because when I do God is there to pick me up again. more

i have been coming to this church for three years now. They welcomed me from the first time i walked in the door. The Pastor and his family made me feel loved from the first time I talked to them. They have a heart for the people that come to the church. I am good friends with the Pastor's kids now. I could call them at anytiime that I needed something and they would come and help me. I have really grown closer to God because of this church. They have helped me through a lot. and i would be lost and not serving God without them Pros: God based Church Cons: Can't think of one more
