I am a local resident of Fairway and started to place a garage sale sign in the easement by the hydrant. Before I started a staff member came out to stop me letting me know that it is the doctor's policy to not allow signs. I repeated easement and the person asked me what that was. After trying to explain easement, I placed my sign across the street at the pizza place since the person was not backing down.\r \r Later, when I went in with the printed version from Wikipedia on what easement was, I was told that another company (really, that came out of the Fairway Animal Hospital door?) was enforcing the doctor's policy. But the doctor was the person that did not allow signs in the easement.\r \r Be warned. We will not use them. Not neighborhood oriented.\r \r There are much more friendlier vets in the area that we will continue to use. more

Great Vets, Terrible Front Desk Staff 4/5/2011

We have taken both of our animals to Fairway for several years now. We love the vets and technicians (for the most part) and our pets have always gotten quality care. However, the front desk staff is an entirely different story. Rude, abrasive and condescending. When one of our animals required significant treament that wasn't in our budget at the time, I inquired about a payment plan (there's a sign about it right above the front desk!) and from then on was treated like a leper by the front desk folks whenever I brought either of our pets in. The payment plan was for a four digit figure, not $50. I do not appreciate being treated like a deadbeat by a receptionist...you would think they of all people would appreciate the extreme effort I put forth to get my pet's mysterious illness diagnosed and treated. Needless to say, now that the bill is paid, I will be picking up both my animals records and moving do a different facility where we will ALL be treated with a little more respect. more

Abrasive Front Desk Staff 6/21/2010

I?ve always left this vet office with a bad feeling. I?ve never been greeted when I enter the doors of the facility. I?ve never been thanked following a vet visit and/or bill payment. The ?front line? (staff) is abrasive and lacks any sort of hospitality. For those that board pets at vet offices, please do not board yours here. I would absolutely fear having their associate staff watch over a furry loved one. I can't imagine them showing care and compassion for a pet. more

A little pricey 11/18/2008

My regular veterinarian was out of town, and this was close to home, so I tried it out. They ran many tests I felt unwarranted and though they finally diagnosed her, it was what I told them was wrong in the beginning. more
