the owner steve is a complete moron. how are these guys still in business. why hasnt anyone sued them for everything? worst customer service ive ever experienced. EVER! a 16 day job took almost 3 months. the job was satisfactory at best. there was always some part that was back ordered. always got the run around. now i owe the rental car company over a $1000 cause my insurance coverage timed out. steve said he was gonna pay it. its pretty obvious what is happening here. this place needs to shut this down. i would rather drive around a smashed car than ever go back to this place! I had my car towed from a private parking lot by these guys. I approached them completely civilly, simply asking for an explanation behind the $200 fee, and they started screaming and ranting, among other things threatening to add $50 to the bill and daring me to call my lawyer. These attacks were completely unprovoked, and at one point I was so amused by their insane overreaction that I smiled, and was then told to ""wipe that smirk off my face."" To bad you cannot give zero stars. This place is completely taking advantage of the fact that I was in a car accident (with my extremely young child). They provide terrible service. They don't answer the phone, hang up on you when you finally do get them and provide false completion dates on a weekly basis. Also, the write bad checks! They have caused me to go over my allowed rental period by my insurance company and it is causing me to cough up a lot of money. The bodyshop claimed they would help since it is all their fault and they wrote me a bad check! Someone needs to come and shut this place down. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. HORRIBLE!!!!!! The people had car for months and everyday was the same thing ""call tomorrow, it should be done."" They never answer the phone and they like to hang up on people. Go anywhere but DON't Take your vehicle to Fairfield County Auto Body. Unless of course you don't want to see you car again. Cons: You'll never get your vehicle back. more

These people take advantage of a bad situation and Make it WORSE. After the police called FCA to remove my car from the Highway, I was charged 250.00 for a less than 5 mile tow. I was ONLY allowed to pay cash and directed to am ATM machine. I was given NO PAPERWORK on the disposal of the car and for 3 months have been trying to get the paperwork faxed to me. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! Cons: INSISTS ON CASH ONLY PROVIDES NO RECEIPTS more
