Just had my windows replaced with New Preservation Windows from AMI, andI must say I just love them. I purchased the windows for FJB Remodeling the sales and marketing company for AMI in this area. I happen to be lucky enough to have the owner of the company Jim come out to my home to show me the windows and give me a price quote. I have had up to 5 quotes from other companies before they came out and by no means were they the cheapest, but also not the most either. But in my option was the best value out there. Jim walked me through the whole process and it went just as he said it would The great thing about AMI is that the windows are being sold, installed and serviced by the factory and there is no middle man to worry about. Dave our installer did a great job, and was very courteous about our home when he was working. He laid drop clothes every where and took his shoes off before he came in the house every time!! I have had my windows in the house for 1 month and I just love them and have I already feel the difference in the comfort of my home. This is a great company and I would highly recommend them!! I purchased my clearwater gutter guards in 2009, with a "fully warranty." My gutter guards were damaged by falling tree limbs in April, and every person I've spoken to in a customer service capacity has told me that "someone will get back with you in a couple of weeks." It has now been TWELVE weeks since I've first contacted them, with no one contacting me or addressing my needs. The product was fine once it was actually put up on the house (that was a bit of a nightmare too, with their contractors they sent out to do the work being sketchy characters that you would never leave alone at your house), but now I guess they don't want to fulfill their warranty. Very frustrating. more

I signed a contract on a whim for the E-Shield about 5 months ago, I was dazzled by all the cool savings and stuff the salesguy dangled in front of my face. Well, after some online research seeing some of this bad stuff I got really worried and wanted to cancel, but unfortunately it was past my 3 day limit. I decided to bite the bullet and if anything shady happened just take legal action. I had it installed 3 weeks later and WOW I feel bad for ever doubting the legitimacy of FJB.. , the guy promised me a minimum of 25% savings on my electric bill and I've been seeing more like a 45% drop in my bills. I called the company and spoke with the owner, Jim to express my content with the product, and apologize for getting loud and such when I found out I couldn't cancel, (I was pretty upset lol) but I asked him why they promise only 25% when I was saving much more. He explained that it was because it doesn't always work as well depending on how your house is set up, how much shade is around, etc. Overall, I am very happy with the job that FJB did on my insulation. About a month ago I went up to the attic to unpack some of my winter and fall clothes and I noticed that there was a small portion of the e-shield hanging down, and so I called to complain, and the very next day an installer came in and corrected the problem. I definitely recommend this company to people looking to do some energy efficient investments on their home, I think they offer windows and some kind of really thick paint that saves you money, too. more

Wow you can't even spell service or as you say "survice" along with several spelling errors...which is why I don't find it hard to believe you think FJB is a good company. They do not have an A- people... they have a D- which is right above an F! That is awful. They are a fake company that over charges and I believe a 3 year old could come up with a better marketing strategy and business plan than who ever they have running that joke of a "business." The have multiple business names under which they operate. Clearwater, FJB Accociates, FJB remodelling, etc. I wonder why it is that they need to have so many business names registered. They had an F rating in a state they did business initially. Just google their scams. They say that they have tie up with manufacturers. This is not true as they protect themselves first from any claims or liability. Just read their contract. It basically bars the customer to go to court. They charge 30% of legal fees (who decides how much a attorney charges ?), they have 30 days to cancel the contract and the customer has only 3 days. They will come after you if their contract is not cancelled in the 3 days limit. I had to listen to rude comments from this company on the phone when I called to cancel my contract. What other company has no working email or fax listed on their website? Clearwater and FJB associates does :-) They are a scam. An honest contractor will do the same job for 35% of their price. Buyer beware of FJB Associates and Clearwater. They lie to get your business. DO NOT SIGN CONTRACT. ASK FOR AN OFFER and take you time to decide. They will give you a 'today only price' which is a scam too. My initial price was $8900 and then they came down to $3550 when I cancelled. Even at that price the other established contractors were cheaper. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Pros: Good Product. Cons: Pressure pitching, overpriced. more

So i have now started and these guys have gone through all the procedures of beeing a good company. There staff is nice and friendly and they so far have been open and are willing to train you onsite. I started off thinking they might be shady by reading the other persons review but no im finding that to be wrong. They have kept me informed each week to my schedule and have made me feel like a team member. There prices might be a little high but the customer survice is very good. rates them as an A- thats not bad people... only 2 complaintes in 3 years So they just hired me on there team of "yes" it shady sales. But guess what, if you have ever worked as a telemarket-er than you may understand that your are hired to do a job. Its sales weather or not other people like it. I have worked for companys in the past that have done the same thing. Thats the way they make there money. I will be starting soon working for them, if i dont like it ill quit. But who cares its part time work 10 an hr which is not bad pay relitive to working in a crapy restrant at 7 or 8 an hr. Plus a 10 per sales lead. If you know how to sale than you should have no problems working for them. This company is using two company names: Clearwater Gutter Protection and FJB Associates to throw people off. They hire marketing teams at $10-12/hr to hound people into grossly expensive deals. We have had Clearwater Gutters on our home for about a year now and they have worked great. Many of our friends have decided to do the same since we all are to old to be getting up on ladders any more. They are a great company to deal with, and have a great product. No more climbing ladders for us, more time with the Grand kids. And on the "Golf coarse" Pros: never clean gutters again, no more ladders more

I had gutter gaurds on my last home and had all sorts of problems with it. The company was coming out every 6 months to unclog it or readjust it when the water would over flow in heavy rains. When I moved to my new home I did alot of research on all of the products on the market. I went through about 6 companys coming to my home and showing me there products. Out of all the companies that I saw Clearwater was the only system that I believed truly works. They also had the best warrenties. "They give a 100% money back if the system does not work". There installers were very good and were at my home for 3 days installing my new gutters and 350ft of Clearwater Gutter Protection. I am very happy that I made the right decision this time going with Clearwater! John Durham Pros: Never clean my gutters again!
