Terrible customer service! 11/1/2009

Last straw! Went to have a print done on Sunday night that I've had done multiple times before. Unfortunately, the help I got was less than that, downright rude. Even after explaining how I've had prints done quickly before, he kept stressing that they don't do large format prints after 6pm and only one person could do them. Both not true, since I've had at least 3 different people do them. Even after telling him I needed it for a meeting in the morning he would not do it, stressing his shift was ending at 10pm, making it clear I was bothering him. Great customer service, yeah right! Never again will they be my first choice for my printing needs. Cons: Totally rude more

Dial-Up Service in 2005??? 10/3/2005

I had to use this location yesterday to print out a map from my email account. When it took forever to access hotmail and even longer to download the map from the internet, I asked the UNHELPFUL employee what was wrong. She explained that it was DIAL UP service!!! You've got to be joking. In August of 2005, 61% of all HOMES access the internet via broadband, but FedExKinko's in Studio City is still doing it via Dial Up Connection? If this is their way of making more $$ off people (since you charged by minute of usage), I'm disgusted. Join the present, FedExKinko's! And stop bilking your customers. PROS: Location CONS: DIAL UP SERVICE FOR INTERNET, snotty employee more

There Are Better Kinko's Around 4/2/2005

I think it all starts with parking. Once you've found a spot, which might take you 5-10 minutes, you walk into what's usually a packed FedEx Kinko's. Not sure if it's the recent merger (maybe the staff is still trying to figure it all out) but the staff behind the counter can be a little short with customers. I've been into several FedEx Kinko's in the area (Burbank, Woodland Hills, etc...) and I don't get the same "attitude" that I do going to the Studio City branch. The quality of work is good -- they haven't had to redo a project for me yet -- and when I leave, they always thank me for coming in. I think if they could work on their people skills they would increase customer "comebacks" by 10-15% (which would be huge for them). But their biggest strike remains the hellish parking lot outside their building. The online service allows me to send all of my files directly from my computer to their facility and have them waiting for me when I get there to pick them up. That's been more

Kinkos 3/30/2005

This Kinkos is very convenient especially if you're working at CBS Radford and your copy machine dies the night you have a huge draft of a script due. The staff is very helpful and their prices are pretty fair. The traffic around Laurel Canyon can be a bit frustrating and parking on that side of Ventura is kind of a pain, but if you can nab parking in the lot behind the business, you're all set. more

Editorial review from Insider Pages 2/3/2005

THis Kinkos located right in the middle of Studio City is large and very busy. Its hard to get a Kinkos person to help with any copying. Daytime is loaded with people making copies of resumes and scripts. Best time to go after diner. We have gone at 10PM and there was a couple of people making copies. The color copies are awesome for $.89. I have copied art photographs and they have come out exactly like the original. Easy to do, you put in credit card or ATM and machine automatically deducts. If you're a moron like me and you make a couple of mistakes, go to desk and ask for credit, they are real nice about refunding. more
