Had dinner with friends. What a beautiful restaurant. Warm and cozy. Our meals were simply delighful.I had old fashion chicken caccitore which was a trip in the past. my friends both had veal mederian a lobster tail and veal in a wonderful seasoned cream sauce. Desserts were a raspberry rice pudding. pannatone bread pudding and ice box cake All were delious. What impressed us the most. The owner remembered our names when she said good night. Great place for a party, plenty of parking and very comfortable seating The food is outstanding, one must try the razor clams, fried smelts, or zucchini flowers. Main meal seafood florentene to die for. Spare rib brasciola a winner as well. The fresh desserts . Try the Riccotta pound cake with fresh fruit. or as they are known for ice box cake and rice pudding. Bar is great as the drink prices. more

It was great being back. Last year soleo's was in the middle of state construction. They were almost impossible to get to. The road is clear now and once again easy to get to. Our appetizers were to die for Watermelon with fetta cheese, squash flowers, and razor clams. Entrees (the best since we left for that year )softshell crab, pork chop with vinegar peppers , and Spare rib brascioli So many places try to dupliciate them, but none that we have tried come close. They have a great wine and martini list. Oh I forget the dessert list. I had a italian custard with a fresh rasberry sauce (out standing) My frends shared an Italian creme Fresh strawberry crepe. This was our second visit and I can't believe how wonderful everything was. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. The food was outstanding and the staff impressive. They gave excellent suggestions and went above and beyond to ensure we had experienced their culture and all it had to offer. This place is the best find my Husband and I have found since moving here. The owners special touch was felt through out our entire experience, and she made us feel like we were at home. Every thing was great. The best authenic food I have eaten since my GrandMother. Right down to the special desserts. Place is like being home and staff like family.
