Express Recovery Services

I called and tried to pay a bill that Tricare (another Bad review) did not pay. The agent said that I had to give him my spouses information. WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ME PAYING A DEBT THAT IS MINE? Horrible company!!! The agent was rude and said well it's going to be sent to another agency at the end of next month if it isn't paid. GREAT! Send me to someone that won't ask me information that is irrelevant to my debt! more

I will agree with what everyone else has written. Rude and heartless. They don't even want you to verify that the bill exists, just give them money over the phone. I am double covered and I believe the hospital made the mistake, they don't care, just give them money. My daughter had to deal with a different company for another reason and they were so nice and easy to talk to and we got things resolved. You cannot reason with people that have no soul. more

I had a bill from Lone Peak ER go to them, which didn't make any sense related to the fact I had full coverage car insurance and medical insurance. The ER just never submitted the bill after several calls to them. So it went to express recovery. We called and told them who was responsible for the bill but they want you to do all the leg work. So I called GEICO several times and gave them the information. Finally after getting the process started and notified Express Recovery they in turn sent something to my job to garnish my wages. They said if they get the money from my check before Geico and then receive the payment from Geico they will reimburse me.. for some reason with the above complaints I feel they will double dip and take both. They have very poor customer service. What a sad disappointing company for a Utah Company. more

Called in to try and work out details to straighten out my debt. Company wanted more money than any I could afford to bring my payments down. I explained my situation but they did not care one bit. They only wanted money. I understood that matter. I was trying to do the responsible thing and pick my life back up from my financial crumbles I have been dealing with. Now I have to file for bankruptcy. It is more reasonable to go that direction than work with these HEARTLESS collectors. more

We sent our medical collections to Express recovery 2 years ago. We've recently learned that they have collected debts from our customers, however we have yet to receive a single penny from them. We're currently pursuing legal action, but I wanted to let any other businesses know of our experience in dealing with Express Recovery. more

This place is too lazy to check a person's claim about a bill -- in this case a medical bill which was not resubmitted to the insurance company as their client was REPEATEDLY instructed and which ERS was also told REPEATEDLY. They are mostly rude and superior. There was ONE exception in all my dealings with these people. They are so bad my wife is afraid to go in and talk to them. Which, of course, you have to do if you want their supposed documentation. Their shyster -- sorry, lawyer -- has all the personality of a junkyard dog, and sends ""summons""es that have not been filed yet as a scare tactic. Pros: Maybe for creditors, none for supposed debtors. Cons: Arrogant and superior more

I used this service. Not very customer friendly. And I never got my money. I actually think they pocket the funds; if they ever do collect. more
