Expert scam artists. I took my car in for some repairs and so far the actual work has held up, but good mechanics are not that difficult to come by. Businesses with good business ethics and morals are really hard to come by and this is definitely not one of them. I received a 10 percent student more

I have used Expert Car Care for years with every car I've owned. I've always been impressed with their efficency and customer service. I am a 22 year old female student who works full time and is completely independent of her parents. I have always felt comfortable bringing my car to Expert. My car has been serviced at the Sanford, Oviedo and Winter Park locations and I've had excellent service everytime. As for the complaints about being "ripped off" or "lied to" I have never personally had that experience with them, but I do know that they price match. If you are able to find a better deal at another shop or if another shop is able to price you something different, Expert will match it. I also know it is the goal of the owner to make sure every customer walks out satisfied.. any time I've had a problem and complained it has been immediately corrected. I do know they do a daily call back to all their customers and provide you with an oppurtunity to share your experience with them directly. I am sad to hear that others have been unable to enjoy the same quality experience I've enjoyed with them over the last 6 years. more

They ripped me off. They are definitely smooth talker. I came in with timing belt problem. I paid close to 1000 bucks and they sent me home with junky sputtering car after the "repair" that they supposedly did. My car stalled several times and I took it right back to address this issue. They told me that I had to change my spark plugs and wires to fix that that problem. However I had JUST done that only a year ago. They told me that I had to pay additional $202 TO GET IT REPAIRED. i GOT SUSPICIOUS so I had my friend take a look at it. He said the mechanic had switched fuel injector wires and spark plugs. All my friend did was switch back to its right place and It worked. I was fuming mad so I went back to store and told them about it. I am never going back to this place. And everone should be aware of this ESPECIALLY women. This place should be ashamed of themselves for trying to take money from people who are already quite hard up. People go to someone that you trust. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. more

I brought my car in one time, looking for a decent car place, I found this place and i basically found gold. I needed to bring my car in because my passenger side on the floor was soaked. They were very helpful and explained to me what they think might be wrong. They checked it and it was my ac. They fixed my problem and they did it with a genuine smile. You cant get service like this now a days. They were quick and sufficient, I absolutely love their work and they gave it to me for an outstanding price. I recomend this place to any and everyone! awesome work, thank you guys! more

My neighbor saw I was getting jerked around by my car dealership repair shop and said he had always gotten great service from Expert Car Care. I heard about this place from a guy at the local comic book shop and I thought I'd try it out. Great service. They took me in right away and rotated my tires for free. The store manager walked me over some needed repairs and I thought that was thorough. Def my kind of place. Thanks guys! Pros: Friendly, experienced and free Wifi. more

I took my van in for an oil change and as part of the courtesy check-up I was told I needed front and rear brakes (pads and shoes) and rotors (I already knew my brakes were in bad shape so this was believable). I asked if the rotors could be resurfaced and was told no, they needed replaced. I was quoted a price of $618 for the total job. I told them that I have a warranty on my brakes from Midas and then they said they might be able to do it cheaper and they would check around and get back to me if I wanted so I said sure. In the meantime I called Midas to ask how much they charge to replace the front and rear brakes (pads and shoes) and rotors and Midas asked if they even looked at the brakes because I don't have rotors on the back - I have drums and they said I should bring it in to have it looked at. Midas said it would be around $450. Then Expert Car Care called me back and said they could get the price down to $520 with a 1 year warranty on parts & labor. I said I didn't want to get it done. So today I took my car to Midas (where I have gone for years and have the lifetime warranty on the shoes and pads) and Midas told me the back was perfect, they only needed to replace the front pads, shoes & rotors. So I got that done for $265 and just called the manager at Expert Car Care and told him that I didn't appreciate being lied to and that I'm never going back there again and the manager looked up my info in the system and said the technician had only recommended front brakes & rotors so I gave the manager the name of the person I had spoken to (the one who lied to me) and the manager said he would talk to him. I don't know if I was lied to because I'm a female or what but I'll NEVER go back there again since I can't trust them now. Midas on Orange Avenue near Michigan is AWESOME! more

Expert Car Care was awesome! They took my van in and had it ready in one day! It drives great and the staff is so friendly and helpful!
