This is my first review. I've been dining at Evergreens since I came to Nashville 8 years. I have never had a problem. If your looking to chow down on some crab legs and steak for cheap, this is where it is at! Your not going to be able to spend under $30 for 10lbs of crablegs anywhere else. They have a wonderful mongolian grill if the chinese selection isnt what you desire. Their fruit and dessert bar is fresh and wonderful, I love loading up on strawberries, grapes and oranges. I like the sushi, it's not the best I've ever had, but its good. Most people arent there for the chinese food, so I think you will find that some selections are better than others, and maybe they need to keep it fresher, but again, people arent going through it, they are at the crab legs and grill. Pros: Great staff, great service, lots of food Cons: not much atmosphere more

This place suks!!! Even if you go not too late at 8 p.m for dinner, the food is cold and nobody bothers to reheat or fill the empty bins with fresh food. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT THE NEXT DAY AFTER YOU'RE CHARGED because I was over charged $25 yesterday which came to a total of $50 which should have been actually $25. And not to mention, the food SUKS greatly here!!! It's is just a rob off your money with the left out food if you are a little late!!! more

Terrible food, terrible atmosphere, terrible service. We went at 6 pm (dinner time!) and half the buffet food was missing, the food that was there looked awful and tasted disgusting. The waiter wasnt attentive with our drinks or the bill. Looks like they are going through a rennovation tables and chairs stacked everywhere. This was a terrible excuse for a chinese buffet. Definitely don't recommend. I would take down the Citysearch recommendation out front ,bad rap for you guys! Pros: were seated immediately however no one was there. We got a flyer in the mail advertising all you can eat buffet with lobster, steak, etc. I called and they confirmed they had sushi as well. Folks, do not bother with this place. There was no lobster, the crab was too small to bother with, the steak was horrible-not fit for making hamburger out of it. The sushi must have been sitting out all day. Some parts of the buffet seemed okay, but we're talking 1/2 of your typical chinese buffet. \r \r The only redeeming thing about the place was our server was gracious, helpful, and was always on the spot with drink refills, etc. There are two much better Chinese buffets within 3 miles of this one. Pros: Good service while you choke down the food. Cons: Selection, quality availability are awful. Misleading advertising. more

Like many other new restaurants my family and I visit, we saw Evergreen on City Search. This restaurant needs to get a clue and a visit from the health dept. True enough we also visited slightly after diner hour....but why serve your customers food that has been on the buffet for what looks like 2 hours? There was cold fish, greasy egg rolls, tough lobster tails, you had to fight to get a crab leg and worst of all... NO PRIME RIB as they so proudly advertise. The staff was annoying, taking up our plates while we were still eating from them. At the end of our dining experience, I found myself not wanting to pay the tab because it truely wasn't worth the money. FIND ANOTHER CHINESE BUFFET.. FOR YOUR OWN SAKE. more

I often lament the fact that here in Nashville, one often can't find Chinese food, just the Chinese buffets. However, there are regular Chinese buffets, good Chinese Buffets, GREAT Chinese Buffets, and then there are the Awful Chinese Buffets. Evergreen is Awful. Maybe if you're there during a crush, it wouldn't be so bad, but I judge the buffets by their slow nights. We were there during normal dinner hour on what must have been a slow night. Everything had been left sitting out for hours, everything was either dried out or slimy. Better to close their doors on a slow night than to be too cheap to serve their customers reasonably fresh food. Cons: Lousy quality, Low turnover more

I have been eating at Evergreen for almost a decade now, and the food and service have only gotten better. Unlike some buffets, they are consistent in the two most important areas of dinning out: freindly, fast service and consistent, tasty food. You will not be disappointed. PS, were not dirty the last time I went to Evergreen. Pros: Price, Service, Crab Legs more
