We have been using Evas Play Pups for 4 months and it has been a great blessing!! We love Evas Play Pups! We live up the block and use them for boarding and day care. Could not be happier!! The place is super clean and Eva, Sofia and the staff is friendly!! I see them walk my dog sometimes and it cracks me up. He looks really happy to stroll with his buddies. They also have 24-hour supervision for boarding dogs We love that!! Pros: Clean. more

Our Boston Terrier has been going to Evas for a little over a year now and we love it. When he sleeps over he has company all night which is a novelty for us and we know Eva or Sophie are there because we are a little disorganized and often call at midnight to make a booking and they usually pick up Sorry I know my wife woke you up at 3 in the morning last week We will get more organized promise Also he always come home smelling great the place is very clean considering how busy they are Great place!! We don't know what we would do without Eva's. The hours are great and both girls are EXHAUSTED after a full day of play. Eva, Sofia, and the rest of the staff are extremely nice and caring. more

HEAVEN FOR DOGS! I have been taking my frenchie to Eva's since he was a little guy, it is his favorite place to play. He has a huge smile on his face as soon as we turn the corner and tries really hard to be patient as we walk to the door, he never even looks back at me when I leave. Everyone is very affectionate and knows him by name. When I pick him up he is half asleep with a smile stretching from ear to ear. Having Eva in the neighborhood is a big relief. It is hard to leave your dog with other people unless you know they really love animals, we fell in love with Eva's when we had to board our dog for eight days. We called every single day to ask the same stupid questions, Eva and Sophia were very patient and understanding and answered all of our questions again and again. They actually sleep over with the dogs, like a doggy slumber party! I can't say enough about Eva's if you try it you will love it too. For the person who gave the poor review all I can say is you should have given it a chance and you would feel the same way. Very clean, very friendly, very caring, very careful AND loves my dog! I've had nothing but a great experience with Eva's Play Pups and the facility and staff certainly exceed my standards...I wouldn't go anywhere else. My havanese is always excited to see Eva. There is certainly a reason why she had been in business for long time and what seems to be a loyal clientele. more

I found out about Evas Play Pups through the City Search website, and had to see for myself whether the place was suitable for my two dogs. I had a pleasant conversation with Sofia, one of the owners, and arranged for an interview. I didnt know exactly what an interview with a doggie day care would be like, but I came away assured that my dogs would be happy there. First, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the place looked, and how nice the place smelled. There were quite a few dogs there when I arrived, and after some hesitation, my two guys jumped right in and started playing with all of them. To my surprise, the Sofia asked more questions than I did. Were my pets vaccinated? What kind of dog food do they like? Are they sociable with other dogs? Do they have separation anxiety when I leave them at home? I was taken aback by all of the information she wanted, and a little embarrassed when I couldnt provide all of the answers. That was about a month ago, and I can only tell you that my two guys are having a blast at Evas place. They go twice a week (thats all I can afford), and when I get home, theyre happy and exhausted. I would recommend the place to anyone. more

my 2 crazy labs, ziggy and sammy, have literally grown up--at Eva's Play Pups. Eva and Fia and staff are definitely our babies surrogate family members. It's more than the clean facility--more than the people who treat our dogs like their own--it's all about their philosophy toward all creatures great and small. If you want your dogs loved, cared for, respected and FIRST on the daily priority list--then you want your dogs at Eva's Play Pups. I wish i had more than 150 words to sing their praises. WE LOVE THEM! Pros: reasonable rates, clean clean clean, staffed 24 hours more

I have been bringing my pooch to Eva's for the last year since I work in Williamsburg and I love it. The girls: Eva her sister Sophia, Meg and Kate are really nice and my dog loves them all, the place is really clean and BEST OF ALL there is someone on hand 24-hours per day when my dog sleeps over. It's clean and quiet and always has a calm vibe -- the dogs are well-supervised, mellow and well-behaved. Our pup loves it there. He pulls hard on the leash once he realized that's where we're headed, and he always comes home tired and happy. We've boarded him at Eva's for a weekend, and when we came back for him he barely cared that we were there, he was having so much fun romping with the other dogs.
