Beautiful work! Ofelia took on a tough job that no one else in the area would and did it perfectly! I bought a very expensive Jovani ball gown that rivaled the detail of many wedding dresses. It was a perfect dress, but nearly a foot too long. No other alterations shops in San Clemente would take on the work because of all the layers and ruffles, but she did. She had my gown hemmed in record time, and even invited me in for a few fittings to make sure everything was perfect. She was extremely reasonable with pricing and expectations. Since then I have taken back several pairs of designer jeans and a jacket for alterations and she has done an incredible and efficient job on all of them. We will take all of our tailoring and alterations work to her as long as we live here! Thanks, Ofelia! more

Ofelia is very professional, reasonable and very friendly. She is a perfectionist and a hard worker. She has my clothes ready when I am supposed to pick them up. She has been able to fix everything I have taken to her and has done an outstanding job. She is excellent at alterations. more

Ofelia is a Goddess! 11/10/2010

I recently brought a dress to Ofelia, after trying other tailors in SC who said what I needed done could not be done. I had gotten a great deal on a gorgeous formal dress for the Marine Corps Ball, but it was not the right size( too small up top). I HAD to have it though, and because it came with a shawl, I was certain SOMEONE could help use tha material and add it to the top of the dress to make it fit. Well, thank goodness for Ofelia, because she said it COULD be done, and she made that dress look like it was custom made for me- and, in just a few DAYS! more

Ofelia, the owner of European Tailoring in San Clemente, deserves every one of these ""five stars"". My friends and I all agree she can work miracles on any tailoring or alteration challenge. Not only is she extremely talented, but her friendly ""can do"" attitude makes doing business a very positive experience time and time again. No job is too big and no schedule tight for Ofelia. AND she stands by her work -- she is always willing to work on an item until it is just right. After I purchased the dress for my son's wedding, I lost lots of weight. She redid the gown -- almost starting from scratch -- and it was perfect! Pros: Lots of talent to meet any tailoring chellenge. Quick turn-around. more

Loving service, quality work 8/13/2007

Ofelia's shop is tucked inside one of the busiest shopping centers in San Clemente, but she knows her customers by name and always has time for personal attention. Last week I needed alterations to a dress in 24 hours, which most places won't accommodate, but she responded graciously to my emergency and fitted it perfectly. Her prices aren't cheap, but they are better than many places I've tried around here. My mom and I adore her and swear by her work! Pros: Personal attention, expert work, convenient location Cons: Storefront is functional, not fancy more
