Michelle has been cutting my hair for several years and she is one of the best stylists I have ever had--she is a total pro with the scissors. I have rarely done salon color though, but I'm growing my hair out and my gray is really starting to be hard to color well myself, so I had Michelle do an overall color and highlights. I can't tell you how above and beyond she went for me and what a fabulous result I got. The initial color we chose was not as red as I had envisioned, so she took the extra time to do another semi-permanent tint over the first color--then she ingeniously used streaks of gray I have in my bangs area and mixed it with blond highlights to give a really natural but still dramatic look--and by using my own gray, it will not show a line now as the color grows out. The highlights and color combo is exactly what I had envisioned and looks fantastic! She was amazingly patient and helpful throughout the process and she didn't even charge me for the extra tinting. worst hair experience I've ever had. tried to communicate with Michelle and she got really defensive and dragged another stylist over to tell me it looked great as I sat there with tears running down my cheeks. It was way too short and the highlights were put in the wrong direction so instead of looking like strands of highlighted hair, it looked like tufts of color - kind of like a tabby cat. almost $200 for cut/color with about eight foils of highlights. Never again. more
