If you want safety, convience and quiet Estancia is the place to be. Maintaince and security is pretty on top of things. The grounds are nice to walk around even at night Don't piss the staff off, though, or you will find your rent mysteriously increasing after your lease is up. I would move here again if I had to, but the other side of Cheyenne puts your kids in better a school zone (though, Dorothy Eisenberg is great for grades 1-5). If you gotta be in an apartment in the Northwest of Vegas this place will do you right. more

Nice, clean and quiet complex 3/22/2012

I have lived in numerous apartments and this one is by far the best. The apartment and grounds are very clean. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The maintenance staff are polite and friendly. I enjoy the peace and quiet here. The property is close to shopping and not far to the freeways. I am glad I found this complex. more

I live at Estancia. Believe me we have lived at many apartments here in Las Vegas and Henderson, this is the best complex we have ever lived in. \r \r This a great place to live , we love living here. It's clean, well kept, quite. The staff (all included) are great ! If you have a problem it is taken care of right away. There is no reason why you wouldn't want to live here.\r \r The complex is within walking distance to shopping, restraunts, CVS, Walgreens and medical facilities. The both 95 and 215 are a very short distance away. more

I have read the others reviews and felt I should comment. Regarding the new management take over in April of 2007... I see this person wrote their review 1 month after the takeover. Property takeovers are a nightmare for the staff. I too am in property management and I choose to live in this wonderful community even though I get a rent discount at my place of business. All the negative comments from this person have been resolved. They even opened the pool up for 24 hours, but the apartments are too close to the pool and people were having little parties at 3 in the AM, so they put the hours back to normal. Thank goodness too, cause I live by the pool and even when it was just two people out there at 3 in the morning, their voices carried. They put out a monthly newsletter that is fun and informative. The property is clean, beautiful and well maintained. The staff is great too. It is very quiet (almost too quiet) at night. I love it here and will be here til I buy a home. Pros: Nice community Cons: No BBQ's. more

I love living here. The staff is friendly and learn your name right away. Beautiful apartment and huge balcony and closets. Maintinence is very accomidating and efficient. ATTENTION NEW RENTERS !!! 5/21/2007

I live here since 2004 and since April of 2007 the owner / management has changed and after almost two months now I can honestly say that this apartment complex has changed to the worse! \r If you would like to rend an apartment DON'T DO IT AT ESTANCIA ! ! ! \r The pool hours have changed and the pool is now closed at 10 pm. (formerly 12pm) this is very inconvenient in them hot long summer months were at 11 pm it's still 90 degrees outside.\r Their landscaper is still the same company, but it seems that this management does not have their contractors under control, some palm trees are trimmed down, some other (especially in the entrance/main two gate area they are still brown and hanging down. - not well maintained!\r The mailroom, right next to the rental office is (ever since management/owners has/have changed) filthy. The onsite cleaning lady does not seem to take care of the mailroom. Stains on the ground and the trash bin in there seem to overflow every evening.\r The old management had a monthly newsletter that came out, well the new guys cut this treatment.\r The pool, oh my God! After many complains they finally cleand the pool. Clean and clean are two different pair of shoes. I got a nice little rash from too much clorine and when I went out there the other day to see if things have changed to the better it smelled so bad like clorine out there that I went back into my apartment.\r NEW RENTERS BEWARE - it is loud here at night. The new management seems just being interested in filling the empty apartments and lesser quality people move in. I bet there is some kind of quota that they have to fulfill. \r I will move soon, sad to see such a wonderful place go to waste like that! \r It seems the only prior experience that the new management has was in managing a trailer park. Pros: Used to be very nice, quiet, clean and renter friendly, and beautiful layout of the aprtments Cons: new owners/management - beware ! Since they took over this has taken a big dive ! Let The Truth Out!!! 4/26/2007

Absolute worst place to live, when i lived there back in 2003 it was crawling at night with those big ugly 8 legged friends that seem to find there way into any and everything, not even regular spraying would get rid of them. My car was broken into twice and I also know of at least one break in that occurred during my 1 year stay there so the alarms are a joke. The rent back then was $737.00 for a one bedroom which was absolutely ridiculous as the place was not all that great. The biggest reason for my complaint was how they took my security deposit of $700 to replace the carpet that was flooded by the big storm that year just a month before I moved out in August of 2003, and then charge me another $135.00 on top of that. The carpet was not my fault it was a natural disaster and had nothing to do with it yet they still were able to steal my money and ruin my credit. I recommend you shop around before you pick this place to live it could save you time and money and your credit rating in the future. Estancia Apartments was owned by Scott Homes Management at the time. So beware of any property owned by them. Pros: Clean surrounding area outside the complex. Cons: horrible management, rip off artists more

Love this place 9/14/2006

Price wasn't bad when I lived there. They are pet friendly. Great location. All the staff was friendly. Maintenance was done the day of to the day after you called it in. Loved the layout of the apartment, the porch was huge.\r I LOVED this place. Pros: everything more
