Escalon Small Animal Clinic

I have been to veterinary clinics from California to Colorado finding that so many vets get you in the door only to perform unnecessary procedures and squeeze every penny from your wallet. I was joyous when I had found a clinic which was not accustomed to these tumultuous practices. The doctors are up front and honest always seeming to find the best treatment to fit your needs and your wallet. I have found no other vet with the honesty, attention-to-detail, and caring attitude of this one. more

I have taken my pets there for ever, they treat my animals with love and compassion, they have a staff member there all day except Fridays, and they offer after hours care to there clients. They are a third generation clinic, so family is all they know, and they treat you as if you are part of it. I whole heartily recommend this clinic to everyone. The doctors are not there to just take your money they treat each case as if you were the only person waiting to see them, they talk at your level and they do take finance into every thing they recommend. more

We don't agree with the review above and I'm sorry they had such a bad experience. Our 6 years of experience in having them treating & caring for our dogs has been very good and I recommend this clinic for its caring, professionalism and longevity. We have been able to get in n a timely fashion every time we've called . Every clinic is going to have some mistakes along the way, none are perfect. But we find this clinic to be above average in their care and service. They have served this town for 3 generations now and care deeply about our community and our pets. And, it's so convenient to have such a wonderful kennel in our own town instead of having to go to another city! We have been very satisfied. This is a great animal clinic. The Doctors are so patient and kind. They treat my pets as if they were their own. I will continue to take all of my animals to the Hagan family business. more

This clinic has a sign in the shop advertising a puppy plan. If you pay up front it saves you $81. Trouble is the sign is difficult to see and we were told after complaining that they don't tell anyone about it. We had recently completed our puppies visits and were told we would not get the $81 credit. We are taking our business elsewhere. Obviously they care more about money (even though they are losing our business) than the care of animals. Very poor customer service. Do not take your pet here. more

I Owe them my dog's life... They pretty much saved his life due to the type of injury he suffered. The trauma to his eye could of caused him his life. They truly care for animals since they did everything in their hands to save him. The staff members are very knowledgeable and helpful they carry me through tears with care and concern. I've been to many vets and never before did any of them showed real concern towards my feeling on regards to my dog. Horrible customer service. Tried to Charge me for fixing their own mistake (after they had said they would do it for free) . Could never tell me what was wrong with my dog when he was sick. Dirty facility. Very unprofessional in all aspects. more

This is the worst clinic I have ever been to. They took the staples out of my dog's wound after I said that I thought it wasn't ready yet, and as soon as I got home the gash opened up. The next day a different vet at the same clinic told me that it was their mistake and would fix the problem free of charge. When i went back to pick him up they threw a $500 bill at me. When I tried to explain to them what had happened they were rude and called me a liar right in front of all the other customers. They were completely unprofessional in all aspects.
