PLEASE READ AND AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP.\r My father worked for Ernie back in the 70's and 80's. I've met Ernie and his family outside of the dealership plenty of times growing up, and he is a long time friend of my family so you can expect how shocked I was after how I have been treated. After walking in, the sales people did not take me seriously, mainly because I'm young and they thought I didn't have any money, and when I asked to speak to Ernie because I knew him, they basically ignored me. Eventually after they tried to persuade me to leave multiple times. I told Ken Craig (my sales person) to go tell Ernie I was here. Ernie called me in immediately, we weren't even talking cars for about an hour while the salesperson had to sit there for our conversation. One of the finance managers said the car was worth 13000 on Kelly blue book, I then pulled out my phone and did it myself showed Ernie it was valued 7000, he realized I caught them in a lie, he told the man to get out while winking. (I expected that, Ernie is a businessman.) While our conversation is going on, all of the sales people were making fun of Ernie over the loud speaker... basically because he's 84 and cant hear very well. That alone disgusted me enough to want to leave. I told him I was willing to pay the advertised price, IF I was offered the best financing I could be offered. Ernie sternly agreed and told finance to get to work on it. I placed a down payment of 400 to reserve the car, and was told I would be called Monday. They called, offered me a 26 percent interest rate, on a 12 MONTH LOAN! (with my co-signer) Outraged I demanded my down payment back. I was hung up on about 4 times before they connected me to the payment desk. Where I gave my credit information to get my money re-deposited into my account. They said it would be 3 business days and hung up. It has been 6 days, and I still do not have my money back. They still hang up on me when I call, and I cannot believe any of it. I've been to a lot of dealerships but every single thing about this place is sketchy and I cant stress how terrible my whole experience has been. Don't waste your time, they do not deserve your business or your hard earned money. more

Eva auto is a crook 7/5/2011

Purchased a car last weekend of June 2011. Car and a few issues that were taken care of by recall notices. One problem left was the pioneer avic 900bt nav system which did not turn on. I took the car back on July 5th to get the radio issue resolved but got told that I messed up my financing by telling the finance company that my car was in the shop to get the known issues taken care of. EVS WOULD NOT LET ME HAVE MY CAR BACK they blamed me for the finance problems and demands that I take back my down payment. But since the day I purchased it I paid 200 to have the car operetta inside and out, had the car pinstriped and replaced all the air filters plus a fresh full tank of gas. So now I'm out of a car 3 days lost wages, they would not return my keys which had my apartment keys on them and I ended sleeping outside on my porch. They also will not let me have my sales paperwork back either stating that I don't need them since the sale has been voided thus they are seeming to be covering up their mistakes. My feeling is that they didn't want to cover the cost of replacing a 1200 dollar nav system so they pulled the financing and blamed me for it. more

Don't believe inspection sheet 5/6/2011

I just bought a used car from them a couple days ago. I love the car, it's awesome, but the inspection sheet had inaccuracies. It showed there were absolutely no problems at all. I bought the car and took it to a reputable shop. They found some problems that should have been disclosed. I did the repairs and went back to the dealership where I spoke with the used car manager. First he said there was nothing wrong with the car without even looking at the inspection sheet I got from the shop. Then he said it's my responsibility to take it for an inspection before buying it. Then he said if I wanted a perfect car I should have bought a new one. Then he said they have no responsibility for their inspection sheet to be accurate. So now I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the department of transportation. DON'T BUY FROM THEM! more

Dear God, Do Not Go Here! 7/5/2010

On the recommendation of a friend (who is now no longer a friend sincer I was almost killed by their recommendation), I went to buy a car here. WRONG decision. I was VERY clear what i could afford and what I couldn't. The salesperson basically didn't listen to me and kept showing me cars that I couldn't afford. Only after I threatened to take my business elsewhere did they show up with a car that I could afford, even though it was more than I wanted to spend at the time. Asked three times if the car was safe, been in any accidents, etc. Was told that the car was competely safe on several different occasions. Signed the paperwork, bought the car, and took the car home. I took the car home and drove my children, friends, sister, parents, EVERYONE around in this new car. Brought the car home on Friday, had it for the weekend showing everyone how awesome my new car is. Monday morning it snowed and the traction on the car wouldn't work. My car spun out, the breaks locked up, and I ended up in the lane beside me facing the wrong way. Long story short, I had a head-on collision with another car, the air bags on my car didn't work, I ended up with a broken hand and had to have major surgery. I was laying in the ER Room on a gurney when the sales person who sold me the peice of crap called to ask how I liked my new car. When my mother yelled out that I was getting an MRI because of the bunk car he sold me, he automatically hung the phone up. None of my calls have been returned. I have since bought another car from Griffin Ford in Waukesha. \r If you value your life DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Don't even chance it; buy somewhere else! Pros: NONE! Cons: Pushy Sales People, UNSAFE Cars!!!!!!!!!!!!! more
