Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I rented a full size car for a trip with my two sons in San Francisco and then onto Yosemite.\r The rental desk at SFP was the only one without a long line so we were taken care of right away. After an attempt to upsell me to another car, we settled into our Malibu in quick order. Because they didn't have enough time to wash the car, they indicated that it would be okay to return empty - great unexpected bonus.\r Car return was quick and easy as well. more

I reserved a Jeep Grand Cherokee or equivalent. I was given a Chevy Equinox and the alternatives were even worse. The SFO rental pickup system is an absolute disaster and the elevators had ridiculous lines with no escalators or easy to find stairs for folks without big suitcases or in our case a stroller with a 7 month old. The fender on our car was broke and nearly falling off on the front. The car had nearly 40,000 miles on it which made me worry about the brake pads and the tires when we were driving through the mountains in Lake Tahoe...since I did not get a Jeep Grand Cherokee I was disappointed with the engine power going up into the mountains. I felt ripped off. Enterprise is supposed to be better than this ; should have just gone with the cheaper rental agency because I paid more for Enterprise and it didn't matter in the end. Won't do it again. more

This was couple of years ago (probably year 2007? can't remember now), during the summer we had a mini vacation and we rented a 4x4 (Toyota 4Runner) from SFO Enterprise. Great price, great experience!!! The car is almost brand new (only had around 600 miles I think), the staffs were very professional. Will rent from them again! Thanks Enterprise-rent-a-car!!? more
