I ordered a low-mileage only transmission. \r
The company was never able to provide a tracking number like promised, but eventually, I received the transmission. Only 32k miles, which I didn't think was bad. However, it was 2x2 and I had ordered a 4x4. A week and many phone calls to the company later, I received a 4x4 like I had ordered. \r
\r
Turns out, the 4x4 had 150k on it. That's definitly not low mileage!!!! I called and asked for a partial refund because I wasn't going to pay that much for a trans. with that many miles obviously. Heck, my trans. that went out didn't even have that many miles on it! I was offered $50 back. What a joke! Anyway, then the safety switches were bad on it. Had to send it to a Chevy dealer, which cost me $257.60+ tax in parts and $260.70 in labor. \r
\r
There is a 90-day warranty on parts (I didn't take the labor warranty option), so i called AGAIN and spoke with a ""manager"" and told him I'd like him to pay for the parts for the repairs since he wouldn't give me more money back on the trans. itself. He claimed there is a ""term and condition"" that I signed that stated they don't cover that. I read through what I signed, and it does not say that anywhere. \r
\r
Currently starting the process next week of my lawyer taking over for me and handling it to get my money back, at least for the parts, if not more money back from the transmission as well. \r
\r
Seriously people, don't waste your time. I spent $1,300 total now in parts and labor (including the trans. and installation), as well as probably hours on the phone with them, and now the lawyer stuff coming up, and all I have to show for it so far is a trans. with 150k on it.
Cons: The rest....
