Another company said I needed a new air conditioner for over $4500 and Justin from Empire diagnosed the problem as a defective thermostat quickly turning the A/C on and off causing the fuses to blow all the time. I had an emergency and had empire come out. I didn't see them in Yelp or Judys Book or any other online plumbing reviews, but found them online at www.empirecares.com. I had water pouring out from under one of my walls. Roy came out and found the problem to be a broken pipe under the slab. My heart sank. I had a broken pipe under the slab before, not in this home, and it cost over $10,000 to fix with all the flooring and wall repair. It was a nightmare. Roy did a great job, plastic sheeting and drop cloths everywhere. the insurance adjuster sent out a Bubba driving a beat up old pick up truck with no license and he wanted more money to do the job. Roy talked to the insurance company and I ended up only paying $500. The leak was under a cabinet and I didn't have to repair any floors or walls when Roy was done. Roy was able to determine that the leak below the concrete was located directly under my bathroom cabinet. He removed the cabinet and jack hammered the floor up. A few hours later he was putting the cabinet back in place and you could not even tell that the foundation had been opened up. The concrete patch was located only under the cabinet. Beware of your insurance company and let the pros, like Roy at Empire, do the work. I am trying to find the information from the last plumbing disaster I had, in which the plumber was recommended by the insurance company, that cost me over $10,000. I just wonder if I was duped by the insurance adjuster. Empire was great and the entire job only cost me $500. more

I called their toll free number at 1.877.247.6426. I had three heating and air conditioning companies to my home to fix my broken heater. The first 2 said the heater should be replaced because it was old and dirty and wasn't taken care of. Finally the third company came out, Empire, and they said "if I wanted to have an old heater, that's fine". They gave me a reasonable quote to fix the furnace and clean it. It works perfectly now. After they were done and it was up and running they took a bunch of measurements throughout the system and determined that the duct work on the furnace was leaking badly and was too small. It needed to be replaced as the system is only running at 62% efficient. I am saving the money up to have this work performed and the only company that will perform it for me is Empire. I recommend this company. more

I went online to their website and read about their warranties. I was having trouble deciding what company to go with for my new air conditioning system. I went with Empire even though they were not the lowest price company, I made the right decision. we had a problem about a week after the installation. It turns out that the motor gave out in my furnace. I called on a Friday night and they couldn't get out to my home until monday at 8am. I said yes. they came out and at the door handed me a check for $250. they call it their No Frustration Guarantee and apologized for not being able to come out on Saturday. I gave them the check back and they ended up changing out my motor for Free. They said that was part of their Home Comfort Guarantee. Service well beyond anything I was expecting. more
