Thank you Mr Petruzza and crew. After nightmares with other moving companies, you guys delivered a professional service. The estimate was pretty accurate, the crew was nice, friendly, hard working and very accomodating. A wardrobe broke, and Mr. Petruzza didn't hesitate to give a discount on the spot to compensate. That is very different from what you would expect from any other moving company. Only thing is the moving guys took 30 minutes to go up 7 blocks in Manhattan, apparently because they got lost. With so many really really bad moving companies around, however, this was but a tiny incident which didn't make a difference in this excellent final delivery. I would definitely recommend this family owned moving business. Thanks also to Lana from Citi Habitats for recommending their services to us. I required Go Empire Movers services last 2 days ago. I just want to deliver a quick review for these fine guys. They were extremely quick and a delight to work with. Nothing was damaged in the move and I showed my gratitude with a nice tip! It poured rain during the move but that didn't hinder their progress. To bad i can't post pictures with them working hard. I was very overwhelmed with the thought of moving since moving companies will not work with you unless it's big move. When I called Empire I was fortunate enough to speak to Sloan and after explaining my move was not eligible for their services he offered a referral they use for smaller jobs. Not knowing what to expect I was still very much overwhelmed but I must say Sloan really came through. The referral movers were EXCELLENT!!! Even though I was not able to use their services Sloan was still happy to help and took time to contact his referral on my behalf. If they putt this much effort into someone who couldn?t use their services just imagine what they would do for you if you were one of their customers. Cons: N/A more

They moved me from 2 apartments into 1 apartment, meaning going to one place, moving everything then to the second place taking all of that stuff and then to the new apartment. I must say for the amount of stuff needed to move they worked very quickly. They were also very careful of all of the fragile equipment and electronics. They were great with the flat screen t.v.s and glass tables. I had a very pleasent move and they even made sure to take the boxes out and clean up when they were threw! Today i just had my 2 bdrm apartment moved. I don't feel like writing reviews today but i promised Vlad (the crew manager) that I'll do it good or bad. I was scared right before the moving day due to other review with the scam and some strange comments... Guys, Long story short: you really showed me what a moving crew is! I don't know who writes this other reviews ( probably them selfs if you click at the users profiles what wrote that they Go Empire Movers is so amazing you can see that they only wrote one review in... funny ) but this company just ripped me completely off, and kept my deposit of $100. I called the company three days ago and we agreed on $110 the hour to move from Midtown to East Village. Meeting time was July 1st 12:00 pm Then the asked me for a $100 deposit, for what they will send me a email for the security of my deposit WHAT HE NEVER DID as a fact they never send me anything !!!! Then the movers showed up at 10:00 am so 2 hours to early ( what i got blamed after to have the movers wait for 2 hours ??? ) then after 2 hours of working time the showed me the bill what was $330 and that was the first time i hear from them that they charge 3 hours minimum, what nobody told me before the only thing i agreed on was $110 the hour ! So after i talked to the supervisor of Go Movers Empire the changed my bill to $220 ( I havehave the bil what shows $220 ) and i was thinking everything was fine from there... ... Next day i checked my bank statement and i saw that they charged me another $220 from my account and didn't give back the $100 deposit I called the seam guy straight after i saw this and he told that he will send the money back the $100 deposit to my account next morning at 9 a.m Next morning i saw that the money wasn't send back to my account and i called again to check back and they told me "I don't know what you are talking about i told you it was $320" ?! I don't know if that guy has any memory sickness but just waisted three days talking to a gay who planned to rip me off anyway and counted on me giving up. DO NOT USE THEM THEY, WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF IN ANOTHER WAY !!! more

I moved a few weeks ago hiring Go Empire Moving for the very first time! I was truly amazed at the professionalism from the top to bottom. The movers were curtious, on time, and proficient. Go Empire Movers are a must for all of your moving needs. I called John to move a piano from our home in Forest Hills to our new home in Great Neck, and they were there in a flash. The piano was just recently moved to our home (by them) just three months prior, and I did not even consider selecting or calling anyone else. They are by far the best. Not only did they use all of the proper equipment (piano boards, blankets, setc.) but they were super fast. The crew is exceptionally pleasant and kind, (even asked if I wanted a coffee when they were on their way over) and when they got there, and moved in the piano, they asked if I needed anything else moved (where my husband and I just moved into the home and he was away on business)....They kindly helped to move a couch that my mother and I could not move by ourselves. They are the kindest company with the best, best, best service. We moved yesterday and the movers were very hard working and carful with the fragile items and keeping the house clean. They were polite, courteous, and well prepared they did a wonderful job and were very professional. I was delighted that we had no breakage or damage of any kind and the job came in right within the estimated time and cost. The representative, who I spoke with, was very helpful and took the time to explain every detail of my move, about packing and the estimated charges. Overall an autstanding job. I'm forced to do this! I moved from Brooklyn 5 days ago, i lost my job and my fiance.Great guys, they worked without stopping 1 minute.I had to move back to my famili home, in Westchester. The stuff was intact and i couldn't be happyer. Next day,Floran ( the manager probably) gives me a call and he's asking me if i lost a diamond ring. For a second my hart stoped. Was my ex...engagement ring. He asked me how the box is and stuff. I left the box in the office desk and when they put it onthe truck could fall... i dont know.. but is amaising, The ring was a litle over $4000. Thank you guys, verrrrryyyy much and HAPPY HOLYDAYS! First, the represenatives of your company who spoke with us setting up the move were professional, polite, and responsible.
