Avoid like the plague. Fake Chinese food. Any mall grade Chinese food is head and shoulders above this place. more

Emperors kitchen runs a great setup the food quality is top of the line however you will only see around 10 choices but that being said I would rather have fewer choices and better food. Pros: delicious food Cons: small selection more

I've been going to Emperors Kitchen in Brookfield for about 10 years now, and I don't think I've ever recalled a bad experience. I usually go there for the buffet, and there's always enough food for everyone. I only remember 1 time when there wasn't enough egg foo young out(and yes, they eventually got more out!), but it was also later in the lunch hour. The food is always fantastic, delicious, and very satisfying. Their prices are very reasonable as well. When I have gone for lunch they'll provide Chinese tea at no extra cost to you too. They get extremely busy, so if you had to wait 15 minutes for your egg roll, Miss Snobby', it's because they're trying their darndest to help you out as well. That makes me hungry! The Brookfield location has the best chinese around. Been enjoying it for many years. The House Special is excellent. Have dined in with no problems but carryout majority of the time. Food is always ready for carryout within 20 to 25 minutes no matter what time it is. The Delafield location isnt quite as good food wise but it takes an easy second in my opinion. The bus boy seated us by pointing to a table & said ""you can sit there"". There was sweet & sour sauce stuck on the table. When our waitress came to our table, she took our drink & appetizer orders. 10 minutes later she brought us our appetizer. 10-15 minutes later we received our beverages. Our egg rolls were brought out, but the waitress dropped one. It took another 15 minutes for the extra egg roll to be brought out. 25 minutes later our meals were served. The bus boy packed up our leftovers, but skipped one plate & started packing another table's leftovers. We asked if we could get one more leftover packed up & he replied in a smirky tone ""yeah, I know""! The last thing a person wants when dining out is a teenager giving you attitude! When you first walk in the buffet boat catches your attention. The food was ok, however, there was to much sauce. It dripped all over the table making a mess. The hostess that sat us was very unfriendly and dressed unappropiately especially for being pregnant. The previous reviewer was right about one thing... the wait staff does tend to group at the cash register, and talk. The service is nothing special but the food is amazing! My favorite is the Sesamie Chicken, it is always fresh and delicious. more
