Embrace Salon & Spa

I visited Embrace Salon for a haicut and style with TJ as a new client. When I arrived, I had to wait 30 mins because TJ, the stylist, was running behind schedule - which I accomodated without comment. I was surprised when I was charged $80 for a service I expected to be only $50, but accepted as a new patron. I decided to give the salon a second chance, however, when I was returning for my second visit, the weather was bad, and I called en route, about 20 miniutes before my visit, to let them know I would be about 5 minutes late. I was told that I would have to re-schedule if I could not arrive on time. I reminded the associate I was calling out of courtesy and expected to be within 5 mins of my appt time. I reminded them of my previous visit, and was told that although they were sorry, this preference was only given to certain clientele, and I would not be afforded this courtesy. They offered me an appt at a further date. If TJ cannot run his salon more professionally, or hire associates with a more courteous process, then the salon will not be successful. I have since found a fabulous stylist and salon which cares and caters to the needs of the patrons. My recommendation - for the cost and personality, this salon is not worth it-- keep looking! more

What a surprise I had when I had a full day spa encounter at Christian Jomani Salon and Spa. I didn't expect the salon to be so beautfiul and clean, but when I arrived for my facial and massage the staff treated my like I was family. I decided to then get my hair highlighted and that was the best service I had ever received. After my spa day I had a wonderful lunch in the relaxation room and to my surprise that was the most relaxing time I have had in years. I would recommend this salon and spa to all my friends and family. Wonderful service and quality, but not stuffy prices! more
