This place is the worst place to buy a car. They are ALL pushy and high pressure. Read my full rating on the YP site. more

Unfortunately this is not just a bad 5/31/2012

Unfortunately this is not just a bad experience, but also a case of damaged property, lies, and theft. I am finally coming to the end of a 5 month-long mess of issues with Elmore Toyota which started with them severely damaging my truck. Although I am relieved to finally rid myself of them, they ended our encounter by stealing $300 from me in one last hurrah. Each time they tried to ""fix"" something that they damaged, they would damage something else in the process, with lies and the usual run-arounds throughout the entire process. Promises of days turned into weeks, and nothing was ever done without cutting corners. After their most recent mess, we agreed that I could have my own shop fix the damage they caused (this time it was my paint, which was fixed by Rhino Detailing) and Elmore would reimburse me. They went back on their word and told me it would be ""bad business"" for them to have to pay. After countless wasted days dealing with dozens of issues and damages sustained to my vehicle, I can't emphasize enough that no one should take their vehicle to Elmore Toyota. They will cut corners and will never respect you or your property. The e-mails I received throughout the process, especially towards the end, were nothing short of rude, disrespectful, and completely lacking of any professionalism. Here is an example of an email I received when they decided not to reimburse me as promised. This is a direct copy of the e-mail, verbatim: -------------- Me: ""Ruben, I never heard back from you... Please call me as soon as possible."" Ruben Serna: ""Josh... Chill out... I will get back to you as soon as I have an answer..."" Ruben Serna (before I could reply to his previous e-mail): ""No is the answer!"" In todays economy, someone is making a living treating customers this way? I have full documentation consisting of e-mails, texts, and pictures. If there is any doubt, please feel free to message me and I would be more than happy to share my experience in even further depth. I would rather have to prove myself than have anyone else doubt the severity of my experience and have the same things happen to them. Do yourself a favor and drive another 5 minutes to any of the other dealerships in the area which all have far better reviews. On a positive note, I am back to servicing my vehicle myself, so thanks Elmore! However, that also means that I noticed more areas where they had cut corners- for example, my driveline had never been greased a single time in 40k miles. More great work from Elmore... UPDATE: After weeks of lies, contacting corporate, and the beginning stages of a lawsuit, they finally paid me back for $250 of the $300 they owed me. Not exactly impressive, but I want to make sure my review is factual and honest. more

Worst service in my life 8/9/2011

can i rate this minus???? horrible crappy service.. first off they tell you ohhh we can get you this car for this price .. (bs) (+$2000 deposit) if you say that you have to leave to get your kids because you have already spent 2 hours in there.. they will tell you only 10 more minutes (bs--- +1hr) then you will then get told you have been approved... you will then drive the car of your dreams for a wk then you will find out that you were not approved and been driving without finance and your previous finance company will hound you.. they will then tell you that they have dealt with it (bs) they then say to you that you cannot have your original car back because they have done work on it. and that they will find you a better one (bs + a car which is worse than your original without central locking and electric windows) they then tell you they have financed it (bs AGAIN) you then get towed away with your kids there and then given original car (which you bought from them a year ago and they told you to come bk in 12 months to get a better one) If you want to buy a car with the bs to go with the price then go here,... rude service people... unprofessional staff.. they say they will call you bk and never do... taken a month yo get what??? nothing... I am a veteran and been deployed 3 times to serve my country and when I come back and want to get a new car for my family and new born (with a deposit) I cant even do that!! more

Not that good 7/31/2011

I am surprised that this place actually sells Toyota.. I was on the prowl for a Prius, new or used. I had done the research online and started calling around. The first call should have been enough.. within one minute the sales person was telling me that the Prius was one of the hardest cars to find, in fact, in Silver it was almost impossible. He said that he had one left, that was actually on hold for a customer and then he asked if I could hold on one second.. I was surprised when all of a sudden I was on hold.. I didn't even have a chance to say anything. The sales person came back on the phone and said since the car that was on hold didn't need to be delivered until next week he could sell me this silver Prius and relocate another for the customer who had agreed to buy this silver Prius before me. Are you still with me? My head was spinning... I didn't know how I felt about this. I paused for a second and the sales person said he could hold the car until this afternoon if I told him I was interested. The sales person said he could make me a great deal on this car considering how hard these cars are to find in silver and how the price of gas is going through the roof.. He suggested that I give him my information over the phone so he could get things set up and run this deal by his manager. I told him I would call him right back... and called another dealer.. I am not sure what the standard of service is for salespeople but based on other dealerships I visited, I think this dealer might not be as good as others.. more

Worse Dealership Ever 4/28/2009

Got '09 Camry Easter Sunday, had it's alignment serviced 4xs within two weeks of taking it home. Service dept. states car was being serviced based on ""my preference"". Didn't realize wanting your new car to drive straight was a matter of preference. Shame considering the sales part went well. Appears to be ok now, but I'll be getting an independent mechanic's report because of Elmore's incompetent service dept. Not driving the car, in the garage for the time being. We were the problem and were being ""picky"" according to the Service Department Manager, although the last adjustment made prior to a Toyota Corporation Technician coming out and signing off on it, made a difference. I guess it takes a Toyota Tech. coming out in order for them to do a thorough job. General Mgr. doesn't bother responding to you himself (already has your $$ anyway) to take ""ownership"" of his dept. It's been the worse dealership situation we've ever experienced!! Extremely frustrating and I'm now going through all avenues to get the new car that I initially intended to buy (matter of principle!!!). Pros: Eli Cons: Mgrs-useless more
