everyone should know that this jewler is also the owner of ipawn.com . WHAT A RIP OFF ARTIST. Elliot offered me less than 10% of the certified appraisal of the item after they received in house( after offering me more in their online appraisal) then i had to fight with them all day to get them to return the bracelet. They must have called me at least 10 times the day they received my item trying to convince me to take the offer. Each time I refused, then they would call again, and again. I had to ""fight"" for the return of my jewelry. and of course they send it back to me , but not fedex the way it was picked up. it was returned to me by regular mail. this was a terrible experience for me and due to this i will never use, Elliot's Jewelers or an online pawn broker again. more

I went in to sell an old bracelet I no longer wore, and an earring since I no longer had both. When I questioned the amount being offered for a very pretty bracelet, I was told it was scrap gold since it was hollow and they couldn't sell anything like that. I picked out a pair of gold hoop earrings, similar to what I had and nearly fell over at an astronomical price. For some reason he offered me a great deal, and I was able to barter for a better one and left with new earrings. What's the problem you ask? They too are hollow! I thought they didn't sell ""cheap"" hollow jewelry?I know gold is a lot more expensive today than it was a few years ago, but come on! The only reason I actually bought anything from the store was the ""deal."" If you agree to buy from them, you will get 50% more for your ""old"" gold. Example: You bring in $200 worth of ""scrap"" gold, and agree to buy something now or in the future, you get store credit for an extra $100, giving you$300 to buy instead of the $200 you brought in. more

My fiancee purchased a diamond engagement ring from Elliot's. A few months later, the prongs started to come apart. I took it to him to fix and all he did was build up the prongs. The prongs looked awful. I've been back to him 3 times since then for him to fix the prongs, and each time it still looks the same. The work looks very sloppy and all of my prongs are uneven and different sizes. I am very disappointed in Elliot's and will be taking my ring somewhere else to have it fixed correctly. more
