I went to Nancy, I am now getting audited and she is helping me. Hopefully I will have a ""No change"" on my audit...update: Nancy never ended up helping me, I ended up owing $10,000 to the Feds. The Feds then tell the state about the audit and I ended up owing them $3,000. Some people on here say that it is the clients fault that we were audited. Nancy told me I could right off a computer and cell phone for my job, the IRS said no I can't. Nancy told me I could write off clothes as a uniform for work, the IRS said no. Nancy then put in that I donated $8,000 to a church and $3,000 to a charity which I never had. That was her own doing. When she did return my call about my audit she told me she had some charity donation forms I could use to make it look like I donated the money. She also told me to go to a local church and ask them to write me a receipt for $8,000 in donations. The positive reviews on here are most likely from her friends or family. Why take the chance? Go somewhere else. more

Our whole family has been going to see Nancy for over 20 years and we LOVE her and the Exceptional Service and advice we receive. She takes the time to explain our taxes and answer all our questions. Truly exceptional person! Thanks for always being there for us. more

This woman is a horrendous tax preparer! She seems really nice, but when you get audited forget about hearing from her again. My husband and I used her in 2005 and 2006. She said that if we were audited she would represent us in the audit. We were audited for 2005 and 2006. My husband made multiple calls to her but she never would talk to us! My husband discovered that most of the people he knew who used her were also audited. She apparently didn't answer their phone calls either. She also prepared our 2007 taxes (before we found out about the audit). We didn't submit those. Instead, we showed them to a CPA who was incredulous about the things she saw on the return. I think Nancy is of questionable integrity. I would rather not file taxes at all rather than to use her again. I probably couldn't do any worse than I did when I paid her to prepare our taxes! I can't believe people are foolish enough to continue to use her. more

I'm one of the Police Officers that Elite prepares taxes for. NEVER has there been anything put on the return that wasn't been reported to the preparer by me. The tax return is prepared in front of me during the interview. If we are questioned by IRS, it is our responsibility to provide the receipts and proof of payment for what we deduct. We sign the return assuring that we approve of it. What happened to personal responsibility here? Elite does a really great job and has stepped up to the plate when asked to represent us. We are nothing but pleased! Pros: Fast, Efficient service and stands behind their work more

I have been doing business with Nancy for over 14 years. In the beginning, I got more personalized service but as her clientel grew, time with her directly was short. But, when a problem arose, Nancy was never far away or too busy to help. It is true I have had problems with my taxes over the years, but I was the cause. I find it offensive that someone who is crying over spilled milk has gone to such an extreme to slander Nancy like this. It is true I got audited for 2005, but I am aware of why and refuse to take that our on Nancy. Do your homework. There have been such statements like she is not certified. Go to Google and type ""California Certified Tax Preparers"". Go to CTEC and Type in Nancy Eisner. You will se her certification for yourself. This alone should help you see the lies for what they are. There are comments that Nancy and her staff are posting the positive comments. That is a lie and most likely the opposite is true. Don't believe everything you read! Do your homework. All I can say is that Nancy was personally with me throughout my audit and it all worked out. I moved to Nashville TN almost 3 years ago, and I still fly into LA just to have the pleasure of seeing Nancy and her staff while having my taxes done. Never once has she steered me wrong, and I love the one on one attention that I get from the whole office. I have never had any problems with them and will continue to have Elite do my bookkeeping for as long as they exist, or the day I die. Whichever comes first. more

I brought in 8 years of ""boxes"" to sort out and somehow prepare taxes on. Several of the envelopes weren't even open. I was absolutely convinced that I was going to jail. Nancy calmed me down in a way that only Nancy has...(she has a very special gift of patience and calmness) and proceeded to open envelope up one by one, sorted everything out, made some calls and stopped levies on my paychecks, and within one week, I filed all 8 years taxes. I can now breathe and thank God everyday for people like Nancy who take the time and treat everyone like their ""somebody"" and help them when they are totally lost. Thank You! I just went through a grueling 3 year audit of my business and personal returns and with Nancy's help, I got a ""no change"" on all years. I had my records in order and Nancy was with me all the way. The staff was so freindly and helpful. Nancy has done my taxes for over 25 years and NEVER has there been a problem. I do not understand why some of the reviews are negative. She has been in the same business since 1979. When could she have worked for anyone else? She loves her job and it shows. If you are unhappy, go somewhere else...it will give me more time with her.
