One of the City's Best 10/27/2006

Eleven is physically a large restaurant, but the inside decor makes it feel cozy. The food was fantastic and the expansive wine list allowed us to choose the perfect accompanyment. This restaurant is a welcome addition to the Pittsburg mix. If you go, definitely allow enough time to get a drink or two at their beautiful lounge bar before dinner. This is not a dining experience that you will want rushed. Pros: Great atmosphere, food, wine list Cons: Server was a bit pushy. more

I've never dined in a place like this before. We went to Eleven to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. I'm so glad we went there because I know that we will never forget this birthday dinner. We tried nearly all aspects of the menu. The seafood was great (especially their ""Raw Tasting"" appetizer), and their lamb and veal were prepared perfectly. The ambience was great, the service was even better than that. If you're looking for a romantic dinner and great food, I recommend it 110% more

The menu has a lot to offer. Wonderful seafood. If you sit in the bar area or outside you get an additional menu with less expensive meals on it. Great atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Pros: Food, Porch, Ambience more

Finally a New York caliber restaurant in Pgh 3/13/2005

Friends have been recommending Eleven for months. I finally made a reservation for two in celebration of our birthdays, which turned into one of the most memorable dinners we have experienced in Pittsburgh. I rate this establishment very high, overall, it delivered in all categories: ambience, impeccable service and a delicious fare. This is a rare experience, no matter what city one dines in. Unlike most of Pittsburgh's estranged ""upscale"" restaurants, Eleven delivers. The the food and atmosphere are perfect, and the service is impeccable (even if your under fifty). This place is worth the price. Thanks Eleven! Now we don't have to travel for the real deal. more
