Elements Home Remodeling

We used Elements Home Remodeling for the first time for two jobs. One was windows, and the other was bathroom remodeling. The whole organization had good communication, and Mike gave us great information when he came out. As a coordinator, Mike was very good. He was very efficient. His teams, who are the people you really rely on, were very, very good! There were two teams for the projects, and they were both very skilled. They kept everything nice and neat, and they kept us up to date on what was going on. They were very personable. There was a give and take as we tried to find the colors we wanted. They were patient with us, and the overall project went really well! more

Elements Home Remodeling did an entire kitchen remodel for me. They then repainted the entire house, refinished all the floors and did a partial bathroom remodel. The project manager always called to let me know what was going on, and Mike himself also called to check in. I can't complain about the experience! I don't live there now, but everything looked spectacular! more

What we liked most about Elements Home Remodeling was the fact that they took interest in us as people and not just as business. They were able to keep our lines of communication open the whole time. If there were any snags on either our end or their end, they were willing to work with us. It was very satisfying to work with Mike and his crew. Their work really only took two days, but the overall project took about two months. This was because we did our renovations in two phases. First, we had masonry work done on our stairs, then we had Elements come in to do the upper half - the portico, post, and railings. In addition, we had to get approvals from the Homeowners Association. For example, we wanted to replace some wood with a non-wood product that would not deteriorate. Elements was able to get us a color that was close to the color that the Homeowners Association could approve. Overall, this company was a joy to work with. Everything was straightforward. They delivered on everything they promised. We were happy with their work, and all of our neighbors love their work too. We've been passing out their business cards, so anyone who needs similar work done can use them. If we need this type of work again, Elements Home Remodeling will be the first company we call to see what they can do for us. more

Everyone at Elements Home Remodeling is very friendly. The work they did for us on our garage was done on time. We worked with Mike who was very accommodating, and we've already spoken with him about doing another project in the next couple of years. more

Elements Home Remodeling redid my entire kitchen and then they refinished all the hardwood floors in the house, which is pretty much the entire house. After that they repainted the entire house, all while redoing parts of my one bathroom. They got in, got the project started quickly, and then didn't dilly dally. They got the project done in a timely manner and they did everything very well. I have no reason to think badly of them. I did have an issue with the painters forgetting to paint one room. There was some small miscommunication. As soon as I told them, they got in and fixed it up the very next day. The customer service was good. more

Elements Home Remodeling resurfaced our deck, meaning they removed and redid all of the boards you walk on. The railings were completely moldy and horrible, so they replaced those entirely. Our previous deck had gone down into a stone patio and wasn't built properly. It was also ugly! We had wanted to fix the deck anyway, then found out the steps connected to it would not have been easy to work around. Elements got those remodeled, too! At every step of the way, they would communicate with us. They would tell us of any concerns or issues. With things that had to be worked out together, we felt we really got to make the decisions we wanted. The deck builder and the patio guy were such experts. When they saw that the grout between some of our stones had worn away and made them come loose, they very carefully and beautifully removed and cleaned all of those stones. Each stone was put back down in a perfectly wonderful pattern. If I hadn't seen a before and after comparison, I wouldn't have known about the old issues at all. It was replaced that perfectly. I had two other quotes for the deck rebuilding. Mike and Elements impressed me the most and were extremely affordable. They weren't cheap, but I would not have wanted "cheap" if that meant settling for a quality level lower than what they had to offer. The quality was definitely there! more

Elements Home Remodeling replaced a sliding glass patio door at my house and wrapped the trim around it. Mike was able to do it for me with very short notice, getting it done by my deadline. My mom has used Elements several times before, and I now recommend them to people. more

Elements Home Remodeling replaced all of the windows in my house. It went very well. The installation process was excellent. All of the people who worked on it were very good and very professional. Elements is very responsive. Mike was very good at communication. He worked with me on the budget that I have and was really detailed about the description of the product. He followed up and came out and made sure the installation was done properly. Being a first time homeowner, he made the process very easy and very educational for me. more

Our experience with Elements Home Remodeling was very timely, and it was very professionally done in that they did what they said they would do. They walked us through every process. I'm not a handy person; I can't fix much more than a light bulb. They explained everything to us, spending plenty of time with my wife and I as we went over the project and what would be expected of them. They rebuilt a wooden front porch with rails. We requested that we have it done in maintenance-free materials. They had the materials, they had the colors, and they were able to get it through the homeowners' association, which is no small feat. The work was done in less than two days. They probably spent more time explaining things to us and addressing all of the questions we had than they did physically working on the job! more

Element Home Remodeling came in and replaced the siding and the shutters and gutters of our house. They did the tieback insulation that was included in the price which is abnormal. Most firms would charge you extra for that. Mike is great, and when he moved to this company we moved with him because he works with integrity and honesty. His crew and foreman, namely Andy, has the same great qualities as Mike. Nice group of people to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone. Mike will definitely be the person we call for our next project. more

Elements Home Remodeling was professional and timely. They walked me through the process and what the product was. He compared his product to other products and showed they are different in how they install. The price wasn't an issue so my choice wasn't about the price. The timing was good as they were able to do it within a couple of weeks. They communicated through the process. Mike came to the job site both days and I met with him after the installation. Overall it was a good process. It was the best process to date. more

Elements Home Remodeling installed 15 vinyl windows in a townhouse that I own. I gave them high ratings because the customer interaction with Mike, the owner, was great. It was like talking with a normal, intelligent, and professional person who knows his business but is not trying to do a high-pressure sales job. He knew what he was talking about, and he inspired confidence in his ability to deliver. It was basically just honesty, integrity, and a willingness to provide the work we needed. The communication was fine. We emailed back and forth, and he was quick and responsive. Mike was just a reasonable person. I don't know why the window replacement business is filled with unusual businesses with high-pressure sales pitches, but we had had some really bad experiences and were so glad to find someone you could have a normal conversation with. Besides that, he was easy to work with, clear, and understandable. more

This is the second job Mike has done for me. During the first he was with another company, and that is how I met him. They replaced my front door. For this job, with Mike's company, they put new siding on the entire house. They did an excellent job, I'm very happy. Their communication gets a five star rating because after Mike and I met to talk about the project, his assistant came to my house to go over the plan to make sure I was ok with everything. I told him he didn't have to, but he did anyways and I was impressed. more
