Casa Fabulous! 8/2/2006

Eddie and his staff have taken this restaurant from the ground up and built the best true Mexican restaurant North of the Pecos. Mariachis, castinets, an attached Cantina... and superb food! It's authentic South of the Border dining at its finest. more

Best Local Option for Mexican 4/16/2006

The live music is a definite plus here -- makes for a fun evening. Service is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is nice and very appropriate for this type of restaurant. They have a very good children's menu. The chips and salsa are excellent, and they keep them coming (complimentary)! The food is also very good, and the prices are quite fair. The drink menu, of course, is varied and fun. more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in CT - and probably the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Their tortilla chips and salsa are to die for! Huge servings, great service, and fantastic music (usually played by a live band). Everything on the menu is great. I've often seen many local celebrities eating there - so you know the food is good! Drinks are great! more

Wonderful food 8/18/2005

I have been to El Sombrero many times, even though I love about 45 minutes away. It has a great selection of Mexican foods. The quality of the food is wonderful as well. Their margaritas are soo good, and they come in a lot of flavors. Some night, they people playing live music who come to your table. It’s a great restaurant with great food. more

THE BEST 8/17/2005

Now THIS place is the best for Mexican food! They have a mariachi band during dinner time serenading you at your table, a buy one get one free lunch option and the best enchiladas IN THE WORLD! Also, their chips and salsa that they serve complimentary are the best. I always buy some to take home. I think this is the best Mexican in the area! more
