El Jardin

We moved here & have been dining at El Jardin for about 4 years now and family had before us and everyone has loved the food, service and atmosphere. We love that they constantly have specials and coupons for valued customers thru a rewards program and we get birthday coupons and they have vacation giveaways. We lived in New Mexico for 6 years prior to our move here and had a hard time finding a good quality mexican restraunt that lived up to our standards for tase and one way we rated a restrauant was by the chips and salsa... and El Jardin has met and exceeded our expectations! This place is so good, we visit quite ofen and I haven't found anything on the menu that I don't like. Last time I had a Shredded Beef indian Taco and it was the best! Our waitress said they cut their own meat on the premises and cook it all right there. It was the best shredded beef I've ever had. We took my Grandma for her birthday and she loves hot food, she was very impressed and said she loved it. The chips and salsa are very good and unlimited. The wait staff sre very friendly and very prompt. We are members of the frequent flyers program that they offer, and we always get awesome offers on buy one get one frees. Everyone we have taken to El Jardin has totally loved it. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves mexican food. The hot green chili is the best! Pros: Great mexican food. more

Good tasting mexican food. You can get the green chilie mild, hot or extra hot. The chicarrone burritos are my favorite and on Monday's they are FRESH. I go often for lunch as I work in the area & I can get in and out quickly & back to work on time. Pros: Fast service Cons: Not much room to park more

What can you say about El Jardin? Well the people who work there are always glad to see you walk in. They always greet you with a winning smile and get you seated as soon as they can. I have been in the restaurant at 12:00 Noon during the week and the entire waiting area filled, but within 10 minutes they have you in your seat and someone has brought you water, chips and salsa. The green chili is the best in the world and if you like it HOT then you will LOVE El Jardin. The Chimmys there are great and the shreaded beef is the best. Everything on the menu just makes your mouth water and they have great Margarita's. We have been going there for 25 years and the food just gets better. For those of you who don't want to go because it's in Commerce City, well it's not by the refineries so you won't have to worry about the smell. It's located in Old Derby on Highway 2. We no longer live there, but we WILL alway go back because of the people and the way they treat you. So take a chance..........get brave and go to Commerce City and eat at El Jardin's!!!!! My family and I have been going to El Jardin for the past 3 years. We have celebrated almost all of our family?s Birthdays and special occasions at El Jardin. The staff there is very friendly and is always willing to help with any occasion. The owner, Ben Martinez is great! He tries to come to every table to make sure you are having a great time and that you have everything you need for a great meal. El Jardins catering is wonderful also. Our son?s high school team recently held there awards ceremony at El Jardin. It was a very large group with over 80 people. It was wonderful! The staff was very attentive and took care of all of our needs. And the food was OUTSTANDING! There prices are very reasonable also. I highly recommend El Jardin to all my friends! Pros: Great food! I've been once because I drive by it everyday. I especially appreciated the superior and friendly service by Adriana. I felt like I was being served by a neighbor. Above average food. She made it easy to order when I asked for recommendations. Try the blended fruit margarita. I love their affinity program for repeat customers. They really seem to care about building a lasting customer relationship, which is what I want in a place like this. Atmosphere is more neighborly and family friendly. But the service and food are right on track! more

Having moved from Colorado, to California, to South Dakota we have eaten in a lot of Mexican restaurants but by and far our favorite is El Jardin. They have great staff who make you feel at home and the best Mexican food around and we've tried a lot of different places. We love their monthly newsletter and my husband and Senor Beano write the same poetry. From our first visit to repeat times, alone or with a large group nothing seems to faze them and the food is always great no matter how many in our group. Great food, great for the whole family. El Jardin has been in my family now for a couple years and we always return. We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and even had a wedding shower there! The food is great, moderately priced and you get great service. Plus they treat you like family with newletters and a birthday club! Their burros are a real meal the frist time I went there I ordered 2 the gal serving us sugusted I go for 1 then order the second if I wanted. 1 was all I needed to go away filled up. El Jardin is THE best mexican restaurant in the whole Denver Metro area by far. I will drive from Aurora just to eat their incredible Chile Rellenos! The green chili is excellent and when you ask for the chili to be hot...you get HOT!! Of course, they have mild too and that is still pretty tasty. I've asked other restraurants for their hottest green chili and they don't even come close to El Jardin! The service has always been very friendly and warm. I love mexican food, not fake ""fancy"" mexican food where the burritos are filled with rice and the chili and salsa is bland. I love HOT mexican food and El Jardin is the best (of course you can request mild if you want)! It's affordable and the service is always wonderful! Great place for kids too! more

The staff is the most efficient and friendly in the industry!! Always on top of the list! The food is addicting and my wife and I eat here at least twice a month!! I try to get by for the lunch specials, they are the bomb! Pros: best food in town Cons: a little pricey -- but worth it more

My husband started going to El Jardin when he got a coupon for $2.00 burritos on Tuesdays one month. He told my kids & I about it and with us loving mexican food as much as we do, we had him bring us one. They were awesome, we got the hot green chili, cuz we love it hot, and it definately made us sweat!!! For people that don't like hot, like my youngest, they have mild and medium also. We went in for dinner the next time, and the service was above & beyond any other restaurant we have ever been to. Everyone was so nice and we never had to stop a waitress, she was always checking on us and we never ran out of drinks, or chips & salsa, which they don't charge extra for, and are also very tasty. We have made El Jardin our new favorite Mexican Food hang out, and have brought many groups of family & friends, and they have also loved it. They also offer so many great discounts and have a great birthday club, that we have enjoyed taking advantage of. If you are a drinker, the margaritas are the best!!
