What can you say about El Jardin? Well the people who work there are always glad to see you walk in. They always greet you with a winning smile and get you seated as soon as they can. I have been in the restaurant at 12:00 Noon during the week and the entire waiting area filled, but within 10 minutes they have you in your seat and someone has brought you water, chips and salsa. The green chili is the best in the world and if you like it HOT then you will LOVE El Jardin. The Chimmys there are great and the shreaded beef is the best. Everything on the menu just makes your mouth water and they have great Margarita's. We have been going there for 25 years and the food just gets better. For those of you who don't want to go because it's in Commerce City, well it's not by the refineries so you won't have to worry about the smell. It's located in Old Derby on Highway 2. We no longer live there, but we WILL alway go back because of the people and the way they treat you. So take a chance..........get brave and go to Commerce City and eat at El Jardin's!!!!! It's well worth the trip.
Pros: great service
Cons: parking is tight, but you can park and walk about a block so it's not really awful
