El Colchon | Serta Mattress Store

I have made several purchases at this store over the past year. The store is run by a husband and wife team and they are both friendly and knowledgeable. Also, in regards to returns they are great. I purchased a queen bed from them (very few items on display, I purchased bed from a catalog) for my mother and she did not like it after they delivered it/ set it up in her home. I called the store to see if I could return it and they did so with no restocking fee nor questions asked. Great store in my opinion, great prices and I highly recommend them. more

I would never recommend this business to anyone. I ordered (online) a mattress and box spring on September 7. It took over 2 weeks for them to even SHIP the order, and then it was damaged, so they had to return it. You'd think if the item was damaged during shipping they would sent a replacement as soon as possible for customer service, but no. It was another 2 weeks before it shipped and again no communication from the company. They never answer emails and phone calls. \r \r I finally received it November 1 but the box springs wouldn't fit up the stairs so I am still waiting for that. I'm sleeping on the floor now!! I'm sure the new box springs didn't ship yet since they are charging me delivery for them and haven't contacted me for payment.\r \r Maybe the company is great to use in person but they are horrible to use online. more

I am a returning customer that previously wrote a review. This time Hector the owner helped me purchase two sets for my son and daughter. He was so honest, he told that I probably did not need such an expensive mattress for my three year old daughter. Most salesman try to upsell immediatly. This is a small store but the product is excellent and the people running it are beautiful people.\r Also, as I was leaving Ivonne walked in and she remembered that I had previously talked to her. This place is great you go in to buy a bed and you leave feeling good not only about your purchase but the feeling you met some wonderful people. Pros: honest people Cons: variety, only about 25 beds to choose from more

The owners are wonderful people, the place is run by a husband and wife team. They were honest people who ask good questions for finding the perfect mattress to my liking. I purchased a Serta Perfect Day Euro Top in September 2008. When I went in I thought that I wanted a firm mattress because I thought that firm mattress were better. Ivonne asked me some specific questions and recomended a medium to soft mattress mainly because I slept on my side. At first I was hesitant but I tried and it turns out that now I am sleeping better than ever. I Highly recomend this sleep shop, it was a great choice for my husband and I. I am going back to purchase mattresses for my son and daughter. Pros: Wonderful sales people, best prices, local brand name dealer, nice store Cons: only about 30 beds to choose from but I will say that it is enough variety more
