Edward's Salon

Edward's is a great salon in terms of service, atmosphere, and skill. They also keep up with the latest trends and all of the stylists seem very well informed. They primarily carry Bumble and Bumble hair products and receive regular training directly from Bumble and Bumble stylists. Cathy is my stylist and she is excellent. She is extremely attentive and focuses on not only giving you a great haircut, but giving you what you want! If you give her a picture of a haircut that you like, she's very good at following it. I trust Cathy to either give me the haircut I ask for or make great suggestions when I'm not sure what I want to do with my hair. I have been going to this salon for over 3 years now and it is the best salon I have ever visited. First off the customer service is incredible, and with the decor setting the perfect mood, this is a sure fire place to get all your needs taken care of. Friendly people and warm atmosphere make this a fabulous place to go!!!! more

Edwards is a salon worth travelling for. Many people believe a salon must be better simply because it's on maiden lane -- wrong. Many clients would do themselves a great service by going to the pros at Edwards. Caveat -- schedule other than Saturday unless you want to know what *really* busy is. more

Let me start by saying that I have been to all the cities top salons...or so called top salons. What I have found is that they have so much attitude! Everyone at Edward's Salon is there to make your experience the best. I had my color done by Cathy, I wanted something a bit unorthodox and without any ego she brought in a couple of other stylist for their opinions, it was like having team of top colourist working on me. Needless to say my hair looks the best and I love that place! If feels good to write this about them. Parking is easy too, bye bye SF I'm in Mill Valley now! If there's another salon quite like Edwards, I've never found it. Everyone who works there from Edward on is a charm. He seems to have the right knack for hiring not just talented people, but people who are fun to be with. The atmosphere and the decor are warm, warm, warm. About the only thing I miss are the fresh chocolate chip cookies they used to bake for customers. Now they've gone and switched to fruit. Oh well. And Cristina Vargas is one very good stylist more
