EDS Solutions- The worst possible trash company that I have ever had to deal with. Ever since the new management has taken over it has been nothing but problems. We are skipped at least once a month and when you call customer service they tell you it was skipped because it was not placed out yet it is always placed out at 6:30 am. The drivers out right lie about pick up. Most of the customer service reps do not know what they are talking about and are very unprofessional. One time they had the supervisor of the driver call and his attitude was so rude and uncaring that it's no wonder his drivers are the same way. If you can hire any other service rather then this company I would highly recommend doing so. more

In two years of service with this company, I've had repeated run-ins with a petulant, childish customer service representative, unfriendly payment policies, and most of all, an over-arching indifference to problems or issues I've got with the service. It's picking up garbage, for god's sake -- it's not building a cold-fusion reactor. How hard is it?? Answer: Apparently too hard for EDS. The good reviews sound suspiciously like they're planted -- and my early experience with another provider has been much better. If you're new to the area and looking for a provider -- keep looking. Trash collection nightmare! more

I have been a Denver Metro area homeowner since 1961, and EDS is the first trash pickup company that I can rate tops in service. This company has given me outstanding service. They have never missed a collection, and they have always returned my empty trash cans to the place where they found them - in an upright position. The company notifies me when they delay pick-up because of a holiday. Several years ago when they became aware that my husband was ill, often they delivered my empty cans right to my garage door. They also let me know if I missed putting my trash cans out, and they either waited until I got them out, or they came to my garage to help me. They get my vote for the most accommodating waste collection company I have ever had in 50 years! more

If you actually want someone to pick your trash up on a weekly basis, this probably isn't the company for you. They miss me at least once a month. And when you call to tell them, they act as though you are lying to them and argue with you. I don't want to have to argue the fact, I just want my trash picked up. That is what I a pay for -IN ADVANCE , I might add..... more

EDS is impossible to get ahold of. If I send an email, I never get a response. If I call, the phone rings indefinitely or is answered by some disinterested sounding kid. more

We have had a terrible experience with this company, rude customer service, missed trash and recycle pickups, and not receiving bills in the mail. Just got off the phone today with a representative who could care less that I switched to Waste Management today. I will never use EDS again. I've used EDS at two residential locations in the last 5 years, once in Evergreen and once in Golden (Lookout Mtn). I find them to be friendly and fairly reliable. When I moved into Evergreen, I had tons of empty boxes to set out every week for months, and they took these without complaint. Also, my dog barks up a storm at them when they drive up and yet they still smile and wave. We live on a dirt road and snow can get deep, I'm willing to give them the occasional "miss". When that happens and I call, they always give me a credit. So, I'm pretty happy with their service. I like it that now they take so many more recyclables, and that now you can mix them. --I do think they should remove that gas surcharge that was added when gas prices were high. The trash truck hit my daughters car last pick up and after an apparent investigation by the Operations manager, he has decided that his trucks Did NOT hit her truck since we werent outside at the time but heard the noise.. This was a scrape with some of the bumper gauged out but since there were no "paint chips" to see and since it was minor thats how the decision was made. they came again and taunted her, pointing, dancing and talking to each other as if to imply they had gotten away with it. . The Operations mgr states these are two of his better guys.. that doesnt say much for the company.. i would NOT recommend them only to save a few bucks.. i will wait for them next tuesday pick up and then plan to cancel their service. I have had their service for a couple of years. Recently, an employee was very helpful and quite friendly. I have only had to call once a long time ago for a miss but when I did they apologized and were professional and helpful. They are local and I have recommended family- my dad uses them for his business and likes them also- they have reasonable rates too, which is why I recommended. I have had service with EDS in the past, now I remember why I cancelled it. I've had service with them again for only 2 weeks, the first week they failed to pick up my recylcing, I had to call and it was another 2 days before it was picked up. Then again this week, the trash was missed all together. I call to inquire and I am put on hold for several minutes so the employee can look at some log record. I'm told my trash will be picked up the next day, so again, my trash sits out in front of my house for days! My service was interupted about a month ago because I had asked several times for the name to be changed on the account, it was not done so I was not recieving my bills, the employee today made a rude little comment about that. For one, I do not pay this company to have to call and remind them to do their jobs each week, I also do not pay them to be treated like I'm less of a person becase THEIR company and their employees failed to process a simple request like a name change so I could actually recieve the bills to actually pay for the service they fail to provide in the first place! I have been with EDS off and on, the reason I've cancelled in the past is because I have to call to ask that my garbage or recylcing to be picked up the day after my regular pick up day. At least once a month my house is skipped and my garbage or recyling is missed. A few times when I've called the person on the other end acts as if I am making this up!
