I stopped by Eastside Massage about three weeks ago for an hour deep tissue massage. I saw a therapist by the name of Rose. She was absolutely wonderful, and used the perfect amount of pressure to get all of the knots out. I felt completely rejuvinated and relaxed afterwards! Eastside has a very calming, comfortable and professional environment and it definitely helped add to the experience. The price ($85/hr) is also by far the best price you are going to find for a spa with NYS licensed therapists anywhere in Manhattan. I would HIGHLY recommend Eastside Massage Therapy Center to anyone! more

Therapeutic, Relaxing, and Affordable! 3/23/2012

Eastside Massage Therapy has truly mastered its craft. The massage therapists are both knowledgeable and passionate about massage therapy. After coming here regularly for several months (and I've had many massages throughout the city), I can say with confidence that Eastside Massage is one of the best and most affordable massage centers in Manhattan. I first came to Eastside Massage after my physical therapist referred me. I usually receive a deep tissue massage from either Jenny or Denise. They are both exceptional: I would highly recommend either one of them! For me, the best part is that they always take the necessary time to understand what is going on with my body and to address exactly what I need. And for those of you who may be looking for a relaxing or gentle Swedish massage, this is also your place. The zen, relaxing atmosphere with its dim lighting and beautiful decor is just the right amount of pamper! I highly recommend Eastside Massage Therapy for your next massage! My husband and I both go to Eastside Massage Therapy Center religiously. The therapists at this center are exceptional. They have cured a number of muscular issues for both of us. The therapists are kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, talented and treat the individual. They listen to your needs and gave you a fantastic massage based on your specific areas of concern. I get a massage weekly because they decrease my stress and heal my muscle aches. Hooray for Robin (owner) and her magnificent staff! more

Best Massage on the Upper East Side 10/17/2011

Eastside Massage Therapy Center really caters each massage to your session. The therapists here mean business when you book a session-they got rid of my knots like no massage session has ever done. After the session I felt rejuvenated and a just so free- I could move! I do a lot of chores at home and my lower back is often in a lot of pain. Just one hour got rid of the pain. Sometimes you just need a massage to unwind from your hectic schedule and to get rid of the aches and pains. The therapists at Eastside Massage Therapy are terrific! The rooms are serene with soothing music or ocean sounds playing in the background. What's also great is that they have half, 3/4, 1 and even 2 hour sessions, are open 7 days a week from morning to eve (8:30pm on weekdays) so you can definitely fit a session in during your busy week. I've had a few sessions here and every time the therapists have been great! I've tried Lorena, Marilyn, Teresa, and Ramiro and will return for more. more

I did a shitasu massage where it was recommended for me for a fall that caused an injury in my hip. After the first session amazing results of pain relief! I was so allured to go back for more and the price was great! Joe took care of me so well and helped with my injuries, stresses and my health. He does amazing wonders! Now I consistantly go back every week and recommend him to all my friends and family. Couldn't ask for anything better! Pros: Awesome Service, Wonderful People, Great Atmosphere :) Cons: none more

I feel like I just joined some sort of exclusive private club! All I have to say is that their massages are amazing! I dont normally write reviews, but i feel like everyone should know about this place. I am a massage junkie, I travel often and have had massages all over and no where beats this place! Since discovering Eastside Massage I find myself booking appointments twice a week. So far I have seen Michelle, Jana and Rose and all of them have been amazing. After reading the article in allure magazine's November 2009 issue about Josephine Santiago, I was very interested in receiving a massage. When I called and requested her she was completely booked so I was scheduled with Rose. She recommended her myofascial technique [which was amazing!] and it really helped with the pain I was having on my knees. I'm a professional runner and needed focus on the muscles relevant to this particular activity. Sports Massage utilizes specific massage techniques to assist athletes during performance, both in training and competition. And I fount that @ Eastside. Got a great massage from Helcio.
