We are retired persons whom used eastern connection movers . Our experience using Eastern connection movers was most delightful, they were on time & had a fair price and there was no damages and in fact, the 2 most concerned items that I was concerened about were moved with the most professional care. This is our first time of writing this review on any mover as we have moved alot in the past however, this review we had to state that we had a great experience. In the past I have used other movers and everytime the other mover have showed up in the same type of trucks with the same dirty in ground dirt in their wood floors. When using eastern connection movers I discovered a true dedicated mover to customer service and very clean floors in fact, they didn't have those old dirty in ground wood floors. Eastern Connection Movers had a tiled floor in the truck with a nicely finished paneled wood walls and steps inside the body that were finished in carpet and trimmed out finished painted ceiling. This truck was most different. In all I would use them again and I will tell as many people as I know of moving to use eastern connection movers. 1: fair price 2: on time: 3 : clean trucks 4: professionals. I usually don't get bothered by writing reviews but people beware of these movers, not only do they not return calls but after calling and getting info, regarding their company, they dont even have a business. they work out of a house. It is now 4 days since our move and I am still waiting for my furniture. I got the old routine when I was lucky enough to hae gotten thru, our truck broke down. The police have had several complaints lodged against these peep. Please just beware and ask urself why are they so cheap? you will quickly learn the answer to this. They were 1 day and several hours late for pick-up. Stated they had a truck break-down about 65 miles from their terminal. They broke an L-shaped wood desk; promised speedy repair by a local company; have not delivered. Left key at "on" to run down battery of mobility scooter. Did not mail promised contract proposal and repeatedly said "the secretary" was "out". Did not contact us about delay of move until after 3 P.M. and repeated calls to them on the day of the move - and I had begun the processes to get a Pensky truck rental. Arrived in a Pensky truck they had used before. Took 4X as long to load and 3X as long to unload as I estimated required ... and I had 13 military & civilian moves in 11 years,. Took, by their stated time of departure and their arrival time, 10 hours to drive about 350 mostly turnpike and interstate expressway miles. Said delivery would be between 10-11 a.m. and arrived for delivery after 1 P.M. (but at least they did arrive!). Dropped a packed and sealed box with tinkle of glass; stated at time "nothing was broken" but we have not gotten all the boxes open, so we do not know more than the empty promises about the broken desk. State they use a cell phone with T-Mobile pre-paid minutes. State they can not receive cellular 'phone calls in many places, therefore did not hear nor respond to my many calls to them. Initially quoted and finally billed without added surcharges; and final bill was a fair price. In between, presented me with a bill including surcharges of more than $300. IF THE DESK IS REPAIRED BY JUNE 6, 2007, THIS MESSAGE WILL BE REVISED. IF THE DESK IS NOT REPAIRED BY THEN, A LETTER OF COMPLAINT TO THE "CHRISTIAN YELLOW PAGES" WHICH IS WHERE I FIRST FOUND THEM, FOLLOWS this review. I would rate Eastern Connection Movers as THE BEST MOVER ON THE ENTIRE EAST COAST. Their service is just excellent and their equipment is just super clean. Their crew was very courteous and experienced as I can tell in my move. They were on time and got the move done within the time frame as they said they would. Their price as they quoted me was the same. I could keep going on and I would really tell you to use Eastern Connection Movers for your Long Distance or even Local moves. They are Located in Upper Darby , Pennsylvania and excellence is most cetainly what they are all about " Your Total Moving Connection " is so true.
