Nice clean hospital 11/29/2005

We have visited several people in this hospital and they have a nice clean hospital with very friendly staff. They seem to strive to make the patients stay very comfortable. They are also helpful if you are visiting. more

Long wait in the ER; questionable patient care in hospital 7/10/2005

I would not recommend going to East Alabama Medical Center. If you can make it to another hospital, please try. Their ER is painfully slow; a recent foot injury on a slow night resulted in 6 hours of wait time (can you imagine if it was crowded? good grief). The care within the hospital itself is questionable. PROS: CONS: don't go to this hospital more
