I'm a regular spa-goer, so I know the drill--get there 15 minutes ahead of time.... I did. However, before I came, I was told there would be parking behind the spa. Well, good luck finding it. I couldn't. I decided not to park in the lawyers spaces in the building next door which were the only spaces that I could see other than street parking. Luckily, I found an empty meter nearby. Still, I was 10 minutes early. I was told to wait and my therapist would be with me shortly. The waiting area has two straight-backed booth seats. At most, they could accommodate 3 people each. But when I'm at a spa, I don't usually want to sit so close to people I don't know. Especially, in an uncomfortable chair. So, I waited. And waited. And waited. At 15 minutes after my appointment time, when everyone else had already been in their rooms for some time, I went to the front desk. They said my appointment was 15 minutes after my appointment time. (Which isn't what time they confirmed when they called two days earlier.) So, I went back to the uncomfortable booth seat to wait. I waited another 5 minutes, and was given neither explanation, nor apology for the delay. That said, the wax was just okay. I've had better, and only once had one worse. I would never go back to this spa. There are so many other options in Charleston, use one of them instead.
