I bought my wife a 1-hr massage gift certificate for our anniversary and she made an appointment shortly after. On her way to the appointment, she got in a car accident. I called Earthling Day Spa and told them what happened and they said it was no problem and that I could reschedule her appointment. A couple months later, she made another appointment. When I came back to pick her up, they told me there was a problem with the gift certificate and that it had already been used. I explained the situation and how we have never been here before. I was also curious to why they waited to tell me this AFTER her massage. (We had given them the certificate number when making the appointment the day before) They wanted me to pay another $75. I didnt have the money on me, but I didnt want to ruin my wife's gift, so I told them to send me a bill. Instead, they asked for "whatever money I had in my wallet as a down payment" and I could pay the rest later! I gave them $30 (plus the $15 tip.) This wasn't a greedy sales associate either. This was the manager I was dealing with! If this is how they treat new customers, we won't be back! PS- The massage was okay, but comparable to everywhere else.
