Dynamic Transmission Center

I had been told by two separate people that my wife's car had transmission problems which would probably run anywhere between $1600 to $2000. I Even with my limited knowledge of transmissions, that just didn't sound right, based on the noises coming from the front end of the car. On the recommendation of a friend, I took the car to Dynamic Transmission Center and after they examined the car, I was told it was an axle problem (with associated issues) and the repair should be a little less than $500. I asked three times if they were sure there was no transmission problems. They assured me there weren't so we went ahead with the repairs. Bottom line - the car is running perfectly, the problem is resolved and the price was more than reasonable. I talked with Mr. Fernandez, the owner, and found him to be honest and knowledgeable. I have to say honestly that I don't think I've ever had a more pleasant experience with an auto repair place. I would definitely recommend Dynamic to anyone who needed transmission repairs. I don't think you'll be sorry with the outcome. more

I suspected my 2003 Lincoln LS with 130K+ miles needed a new transmission when it started hesitating and banging into gear. I found Dynamic online and was impressed when Manny promptly answered my e-mail query. Manny promised me a free estimate, and I indeed needed a rebuild. His estimate was the same or lower than 2 other shops, and what convinced me was his honesty about the pros and cons of investing in a 9 y/o vehicle, and his always prompt communication by e-mail or phone, thus I didn't mind my 25 mile trip to drop off and pick up the car. The work and amount of time ended up a bit longer than expected because of the car's complicated on-board computer. He tried to update the software but had to replace the computer, at no extra cost to me. Despite all the extra work, the price was exactly what he had originally quoted. I just returned from my free check-up and adjustment which is required by the warranty (by the way, two years instead of the standard 12 months) and the car is driving beautifully. Manny and his entire staff are polite, promtly responsive and obviously take pride in their work. I strongly, strongly recommend Manny and Dynamic Transmission Center for any and all transmission problems and service. These people know how to run a business and care about their customers. We have an old expression in medicine: "If you wonder what the patient could possibly have wrong with him...listen to the patient." Manny and his also experienced-intelligent co-worker simply drove & listened to a 10 yr old truck and listened to the owners description of symptoms. They kept the vehicle for 2 days and determined the root problem WAS NOT the transmission. They referred me back to the original garage, confirmed: electronic & Fixed. NO Charges from Dynamic...I'm still in shock. more

I did not do business with this company.However I would like to offer a positive comment. I inquired about a major repair to my vehicle. Manny, the owner of this business, informed me that I could actually get it done less expensively at the dealer due to the cost of the repair parts and the dealer warranty. I sincerely appreciate his honesty. I get tired of being lied to and ripped off by many service shops because they are only looking for the one time customer. Manny seems to realize that by being upfront with people he will either get their future business or be referred by them. Good job Manny!!! more

I have used Dynamic Transmission Center twice now, and Manny is very good at what he does. The first time, Manny completely rebuilt my transmission. Normally, a complete rebuild does not even make it out of the warranty period, but mine is looking good 3 years and 40,000 miles later. The last tuneup showed that it was clean as can be. I am really thankful for the quality of work that Manny does. I own a service business, so I know what it takes to provide that type of service.
