Best hair salon in town! I love this place so much and I love my hairdresser, Chelsea Luna! If you're looking for someone who will go out of their way to make you happy, then she's your girl. The service is beyond amazing and I look forward to my next visit the second I walk out of the door! I highly recommend this salon. Make sure you ask for Chelsea, you won't regret it :) more

Dyer & Posta is a awesome salon with a very modern feel. I love my stylist Chelsea Luna, she's so stylish and easy to talk to! She does great work and I love my hair!! She's very in touch with modern hair styles and will do exactly what you want! I would highly recommend Chelsea! more

Stephen has been coloring my hair for more than a decade and cutting it for about six years now. He is the absolute best, and his entire team is friendly, professional and supremely talented. They are so committed to customer service and will always go above and beyond to ensure their clients leave happy. I've been so thrilled with the service and my hair for so many years, I've ""converted"" countless friends and family members to the salon...some even drive in from out of state! Plus, I regularly have strangers compliment my hair and ask who does it! Stephen also does my teenage son's hair and, aside from establishing an amazing rapport with him too, he always leaves loving his new look (and that's not easy with teenagers). The new salon space is bigger than the old one by quite a bit, and I'm sure it will take some getting used to for long time clients, but the comfortable, friendly atmosphere hasn't changed one little bit, and the expansion just goes to show how good these guys and gals are at their profession!\r more

Best Hair Salon in Atlanta! I highly recommend Dyer & Posta Salon to all my friends and family! I haven't had my hair done in years because the last few experiences I had were awful, but my friend recommended Shannon and so I decided to give it a try. Shannon is one of the best hair stylists I ever had, she is great with color, cut and style, I have finally found a stylist I love and trust. She is very professional and also makes me laugh, so I enjoy my time there, and always leave happy and satisfied. I will never let anyone else touch my hair again. Shannon is truly the best and knows what she is doing. more

After reading the below review from Katie A. I had no choice but to write my own review. I have been a client at Dyer and Posta for over 5 years and literally have NOTHING but amazing things to say about Shannon. Her love and passion for hair is what keeps me coming back...even after I moved 45 min away from Kennesaw. I've never walked out dissatisfied and Shannon even contacts me to make sure I'm still happy with my hair. Perhaps she ""checked instagram"" because she posts pictures of her work on the website to showcase her talent! ...not to mention, she isn't performing heart surgery...who cares if she checks her phone! I seriously get stopped at least once a day by complete strangers to ask who does my amazing color. So, if you want awesome hair I suggest you go see Shannon at Dyer and Posta too!!! more

This is the first time I have ever outwardly complained about a business, but my experience at Dyer and Posta has been incredibly frustrating and I think potential clients should know. I went to the salon after seeing a high rating on Yelp and was very excited about my visit. Shannon was my stylist. While washing my hair, I could feel her fingernail falling off. When we returned to her station, she immediately checked instagram on her phone. I asked for a trim and shape-up as I want to grow my hair out. She literally cut 1/2 an inch straight around the bottom and an inch from my bangs and dried. I thought she would attend to my layers after my hair was dry. Nope. Within 25 minutes, I was washed, dried and sent to checkout. I paid and went to the car and tried to rearrange and restyle. It didn't work. I called and was told that D&P had a redo policy for first-time customers. I declined, stating that I wanted a refund. When I followed-up the next day, I was denied a refund. I even spoke to the owner, Stephen, who asked me accusatory questions about my experience. I will never go back and would not recommend this salon to anyone. more

I recently had highlights done from Emily. She did a wonderful job. I've been getting highlights for several years but never been this much pleased. I can not stop looking at my hair, it's been a week. she listened to me and did a great job, exactly what I wanted. Most salons told me that they have to bleach my hair in order to get the caramel color. This salon is the only one who told me bleach is not necessary to get to the color I wanted. I called Salon and requested that I needed ample amount of time between 2 and 3 hours. They booked me with Emily. I live around Dunwoody, it was a bit of long drive but it was all worth it. more

I have been seeing Krysten for 2 years now and every time I leave I think she can't top herself. Yet she seems to EVERY TIME! She does the best color you can ask for and somehow manages to change it up enough to be new and different without being crazy. I love everyone in the salon and will continue to see Krysten until she gets sick of me! If you want a great experience, Dyer and Posta is your place. If you want to add AMAZING hair to it, Krysten is your girl! more

I absolutely love this salon and the stylist that cuts and colors my hair! For my first visit, I called Dyer and Posta with an emergency hair issue caused by another salon, and Krysten came quickly to the rescue. Since then I have continually visited Krysten with all of my color, cut, and style needs. I would highly recommend her to any and everyone looking for a sophisticated and stylish look. After searching for someone able to work with alternative cuts as well as ""normal"" hair, I came upon Pippin Sheehan. She is serious the best hairstylist ever! She has great recommendations and suggestions for indecisive people like me, as well as being an awesome listener for what you want! She is really nice and sweet, and is a cool person to talk to. I recently moved to Atlanta and needed a cut and color. A friend of mine recommended Dyer & Posta Salon. The first time I went, Amanda did my hair, and it looked fantastic. The second time I went, Krysten did my hair, and I was so impressed by how she did my color. My grow-out was blended into my highlights so well that I was able to go a little bit longer between appointments. Krysten also helped me repair an uneven haircut that I had gotten at another salon. The atmosphere of Dyer & Posta is great and the people are very friendly. This is definitely my salon of choice, and I highly recommend Krysten if you need a great cut and color! more

Everyone go see chelsea luna!!!! she's an amazing hair stylist as well as a makeup artist! Really good with blonde hair..had a mess up with mine and she was able to fix it perfect for me. She has great fashion sense and really cares about her clients! :) more

I love this salon! If you go definately see Kris because he is a hair Jedi!!! He will take your hair from drab to fab I promise! When I first came to him I had previously gotten an awful haircut from another salon and I also had a lot of damage from bleaching my hair so much. I really wanted to grow my hair out so it would be long and healty. He has been making my hair look great while it grows out and now it is getting long and is 100% healthy. He is great about listening to what you want and he takes his time with you, unlike a lot of stylists. I promise you won't be disappointed if you see Kris!!! more

Great salon! I go to Kris for cuts and I have never been happier with my hair. Before, I had a hard time finding someone who would listen to what I wanted and actually do it, and it seemed that I always left not quite satisfied or frustrated with my cut. But I have gone to Kris for 2 years and I am so happy with my hair EVERY time I leave. more

I was recently a walk-in at Dyer&Posta and was placed with Steven Jarrett. I can honestly say that I am an incredibly picky person and have never been 100% satisfied with a hair cut...until now. Even people close to me are telling me that this is the best that my hair has ever looked. I am hooked on Dyer&Posta. Not only do you get a great cut, but you feel very comfortable in the atmosphere they have created. more

BEST Salon Around 10/5/2010

Very rarely do you find a salon that does AMAZING work, that you LOVE spending 3 hours in because of the amazing environment & stylist that TRULY care about not only your hair & looks, but YOU as a person! The prices are great and the skills are unbeatable. Shannon does great cut & color & Stephen always makes me feel like a movie star with the best extensions in town! They are the BEST!! more

I found this salon through reviews decided to go. It was the best hair cutting experience I've ever had. My stylist knew a lot about hair and was very helpful. I went from shoulder length hair to a pixie cut it looks great! My stylist was Anna she was great and very nice, Its a great place to go! more

Best hair cut and experience! 4/27/2010

I was referred to D&P by a friend and I'm so happy I took her advice! I wanted a drastic change.. taking my hair from semi-short (down to my neck) all the way to an edgy super short do. Shannon saw my vision and made it look amazing. I've already had so many compliments on my new style. She's also an absolute pleasure to chat with while in her chair. I've bounced around from salon to salon for the past 7 years.. I finally found a place to stay! more
