Dunscombe Optical

I recently began having trouble with my vision and so I called Dr. Ian Dunscombe's office. I had heard wonderful things about him and so I decided to give him a call. His staff was very friendly over the phone and answered all of my questions and quickly found out for me what my insurance would cover. When I went to his office I was pleasantly surprised by the quaintness of it. It was just a charming place that didn't have that hectic/fast-paced "get em in, get em out" feel that many offices have. Dr. Dunscombe spent quality time with me and helped get to the bottom of my vision problems. It turned out I needed glasses and he had a great selection of frames to pick from. The glasses were ready within a week's time. The whole experience was top notch! more

Dr. Dunscombe's office has been one of my favorite places since I started wearing glassses when I was 10! The staff is always friendly and helpful, there's a large selection of frames and while you may not get your glasses back in an hour like many chain stores, you can bet the quality is LOT better. The main thing I love about Dunscome Optical is Dr. Dunscombe himself; he's a caring doctor that takes time with every patient, young or old, every girl is honey or darling and every guy is buddy or pal, even my dad who's in his 60s. Plus, he never pushes anything on you and never tries to sell you anything you don't need. A great family eye doctor! more
