We had the entire upstairs and downstairs carpet ripped out and replaced. The crew was fast, friendly and wonderful. Will use the Dungans again. Unbeatable.

We at Dungans Floors would like to say Thank You Collin County for voting us the #1 floor store by the Readers Choice Awards 4 years in a row in the Mckinney Courier Gazette. We are sad to see a few reviews on this website that reflects poorly on Dungans Floors, however this website apparently does not make a person prove that they have actually had work done thru our store. If you write on our website, that is managed by an independent company, and it was not posted, it was only because you were never a customer here. We also suggest that you search the BBB who is a legitimate company that requires proof that services were done by Dungans Floors. You may notice that we have an A+ rating and we are an accredited business with the BBB. There is a very good reason we have been in business in Mckinney, Texas for 30 years and going strong. more

Always Satisfied 7/27/2010

We just completed our third home improved project with Dunganâ??s and once again the experience was terrific. There are many product options offered and the staff is very knowledgeable. The projected cost is always exact and the installation is perfectly done. Dunganâ??s is always our first choice and we are never disappointed. The big chain stores will nickel and dime you and in the end, you actually end up paying more. With Dunganâ??s, you know all of your cost up front and there are never any unpleasant surprises. more

Flooring looks great, only a few small things that could have been improved on. 7/20/2010

Overall the flooring looks great. We recarpeted and tiled most of our house. Things weren't left as clean as we would have liked. Dust covered everything which we expected, but the tile floors were only barely wiped at. It wouldn't have taken much longer to clean them correctly and I had to go throughout the house wiping up smudges from the grout. I think some of the workers may have been young as well because there were some fairly inconsequential issues - multiple dings in our freshly painted trim and a random nail left sticking up in the threshold of one doorway. more

Great price, poor installation 6/7/2010

We agree with Betty! Got duped by other website where businesses apparently pay for nothing but great reviews. We posted there and it never showed up. Dungan's screens out the bad ones. Wish we read these first. Owner's comments here reflect what they'll tell you, but they don't walk the talk. All sounds great until things go wrong and they do. Getting things right is painful. When we were shopping around and tried to get other store to match Dungan's price, they said 'you get what you pay for.' They were right and we regret chosing Dungan's. Pros: Wide selection; cheapest price around Cons: Cheap price = cheap labor = bad installation more

We are so happy with our tile..Everything went smooth from start to 5/25/2010

finish. Linnie was so much help with choosing the colors & Lou thought of some things that we would like to have that we hadn't thought of. The man that installed the tile was very good & seemed dedicated to his work. We couldn't be any happier with it than we are. more

Great Experience! 5/22/2010

Our experience with Dungan's was great from start to finish! From the moment we stepped through the front door, Lou & Linnie went out of their way to help us find exactly what we needed. We shopped around and did a lot of research to get the best price, and they won hands down. Our new carpet was installed in a very timely manner and we are really pleased with the end result. We will be using them for all our future flooring needs! more

Excellent service and workmanship 5/2/2010

After deciding we needed to replace our 15 year old tile floors we visted two retails before going to Dungans. We received a recommendation from a friend to visit Dungans, we are glad we did. Thier product selection was great there sales associate was very helpful in guiding us to make the right selection for us. When measuring our home they made some great sugestions on where we should consider putting the tile. The estimation for the amount of tile we would need was right on target with no waste. The work crew arrived on time and did an excellant job. more

Huge disappointment 4/21/2010

They were offering free rug with new floor. Other (apparently bogus) website had nothing but 5 star reviews. Wish we looked here first or spoke with others who've lived here longer. Installation was very poor and owner suggested we wouldn't notice once covered with free rug rather than make it right. Be sure to get the free rug. We wish we had just bought a nice rug elsewhere and covered the old floor rather than cover what we paid them to install. Pros: Broad selection; cheapest price Cons: Poor installation more

Our flooring is absolutely beautiful! 4/4/2010

When it came time to redo our flooring, my husband and I knew we wanted wood for most of the house but had no clue which direction to go with choosing carpet and rugs for the rest of our home. Linnie suggested that we take pictures of our rooms, which I would never have though of, and then she and Judy helped us pick out some beautiful carpets. These were carpets that we were quite skeptical about because of the color "RED", but we went with these choices and oh, what an awesome decision it was! Our house is absolutely beautiful! Our kids even love the house now. To them, we now live in a million dollar home! That says a lot to us. The crew worked diligently and didn't waste any time. We were even impressed on how well they were able to move the furniture around to the point that we thought doors would have to be removed. But, no, not them. They were complete pros. They had the furniture in and out of the rooms in not time flat and with no damage to anything. Everyone was a pleasure to work with! We would definitely recommend Dungan Floors to all our friends! Wood flooring and carpet installation 4/1/2010

We just had our downstairs re-floored with Dungan Floors! Linnie and Lou were so helpful when I went into the store -- Lou spent well over an hour with me talking about different kinds of wood floors and really listening to what our needs were and then helping me pick several samples to take home. Linnie was fantastic about keeping me within my budget and helping with design choices when I picked carpet. The installers were great -- worked quickly, cleanly and did a really good job. Everything was cleaned up (other than all the dust from new wood floors!) when they left. more

Highly Recommend Dungans Floors 2/10/2010

My first experience with Dungan Floors was 9 years ago to make my drapes for my home. The experience at that time was excellent. Timelines were met and I was kept well informed of the progress. Now I have used them again for carpet and different drapes and once again, I was very pleased with the customer service and very much surprised that they still had my old information. From the profession staff at the store, Judy, Lou and Lennie, to the installers, I was very satisfied with Dungan Floors. more

Wonderful experience 2/5/2010

Everyone who was involved in the process was outstanding, from in the store to every worker involved. The guys who installed our carpet and tile were so polite. They were very cautious with moving the furniture to protect our walls as well as the furniture (and we have had bad experiences with other companies requiring us to spend a lot of time and energy touching up paint and woodwork)They worked long and hard and it seemed there was no down time. There was one small piece of carpet behind a door which was overlooked on the final walk through, and they were ready to come the next day and correct it. We could not have had a better experience and will use Dungans Floors next time. more

Exceptional and Professional Experience 1/29/2010

My husband and I recently decided to replace the carpet and wood in our home sevral months ago. We were referred to Dungans Floors by 4 different friends/neighbors who ALL loved working with Lou and Linnie. From our first visit to their store to the clean-up the installers provided, it was first class treatment all the way! I really enjoyed working with Linnie, she is so friendly and VERY helpful in design decisions. Her husband, Lou, was very professional and sweet when he came to our home to measure and provide advice. I appreciate the ""old-fashioned"" service this local company provides! Over 1000 square feet of hardwood flooring and recarpeted stairs 1/27/2010

This is the fifth job we have chosen Dungans Flooring to do. There are so many choices out there, but we keep coming back to them. They deliver on time and keep the job site immaculate. Their installers have always been polite and respectful of our environment and done an excellent job, usually ahead of schedule (as on this job). If there is a problem (we had a tiny one on a tile job), a phone call was all it took to have them back out and resolve it. We have another job coming up soon and they will be our business of choice. more

Exemplary customer service and quality work 1/27/2010

Floors were installed as promised and the job was done well and a little ahead of schedule. Dungans was helpful throughout the whole process and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. I have used them on four previous jobs and can tell you that if they had not met my rigorous standards on the first job, they NEVER would have worked for me again. I keep going back to them because they offer great service at a fair price. There are other choices, but I like them. Pros: Job done well and within budget Cons: None that I can think of more

Excellent home improvement experience with Dungans Floors 1/9/2010

Replacing 75% of our flooring in our home was going to be a daunting task and there were so many options to consider. Fortunately there was a local business here in McKinney that was very helpful and trustworthy. Decisions on which floor options to use were our choices and Lou and Linnie at Dungans guided us through the entire process. Their crew completed the job in 2 days and helped minimize any impact to our daily routine. Would HIGHLY recommend Dungans Floors to anyone who has remodeling needs! Excellent work; trustworthy, friendly people; I'm thrilled! 12/8/2009

We had two huge jobs: 1. Take up and replace old tile in the foyer, kitchen, utility room and bath. 2. Carpet the rest of the house I shopped around, then went to them last because I used them before. Their pricing was competitive, but the service was very personal and outstanding. Lou & Linnie were wonderful and patient helping me make my selections within my budget. Work crews for each job were perfectionists and both jobs were completed quickly and efficiently. I felt free to ask questions as the work progressed, and they addressed my concerns completely. My house looks like new and we are thrilled! more

I checked out several other carpet installation sources and found Dungan's to be head and shoulders above the rest. Their experience and customer service is unbeatable ... and they were about $600 less than Home Depot. more
