Highly Recommend Dr. Johnson 6/28/2011

Searching for an orthodontist with a special needs child was very difficult. When I met Dr. johnson I knew she was the perfect orthodontist for my son. She is extremely organized, efficient, professional & personable. When our son got his braces off we were amazed at how wonderful his smile & teeth look now. 3 Kids in braces 5/18/2011

Awesome Doc - Perfectionist - Fabulous Staff 5/5/2011

Best doctor and top quality care is what you will encounter @ Dr. Johnson's office!!! I had braces a few years ago from a doctor in Oak Brook Center and Dr. Pamela Johnson's office blows that practice out of the water! I didn't my retainers as directed so i ended up in braces again at age 25. at my old office there would be people waiting out into the hallway for hours and nothing fun, like games, coffee or contests going on for the kids. I had a couple of consultations before i choose Dr Johnson. She has the best reputation and spent the most time with me, explaining what had to be done to achieve perfection, which is what i was interested in, this being my second time in braces. The office is really nice and CLEAN. I feel like her prices are directly related to her quality of work. u get what u pay for and i am more then satisfied! I feel like every penny has been well spent!!! i got my braces off in Jan and i am now smiling in every pic taken of me. I had such a great expe more

Good office decor BUT... 2/5/2011

I agree with a lot of moms on this site. I had similar experience. Great office and nice decor but when it came to braces, we were charged a lot more and the final results dont look as good either compared to our other friends who get better treatment for much less.... more

Don't like money hungry Dentist 1/29/2011

This was a nightmare for me. I am already un-easy about going to the dentist. When Dr. Johnson gave me a quote even her person that takes care of the finances looked like"WHAT". She was really trying to over charge me BIG TIME. So I decided not to get the treatment. I called Dr. Johnson office back about 3 months later to get a quote on the same treatment it was $250 less. So I made an appointment with them. 40 mins before my appointment. I get a call from her office saying. they had pulled my file and they will have to charge the amount of the first quote because that what it said in my file. The is the perfect example of OVER charging people. more

Avoid at all costs... or you will be the one shouldering the costs 11/19/2010

Dr. Johnson does not care about her patients. Her entire office is set up for the purpose of seeing as many patients as possible thereby making more money then if she were able to individualize her treatments. Accordingly, her patients are not only over charged for her services but they are also not given complete treatment. My own experience concluded with her telling me that my treatment was over despite the fact that there were still noticeable problems with my teeth. I have since had to get other opinions and will likely have to get braces back on after almost three years of ineffective work by doctor Johnson. more

My expierence with Dr. Pamela Johnson was positive. I felt very comfortable at this office. Both for myself and my children's treatment. The office staff was very knowledgable and always pleasant. I am very pleased with the results that we have recieved from Dr. Johnson's treatmwnt, and would recommond her services to anyone in need of a great smile! more

Deceiving first impression 3/23/2009

Initially, I was blown away by the nice office. Beautifully decorated, you get the "grand tour" on your "complimentary exam". Nice way to lure you in. Then you and your child are in for a ride! The nice professional Dr. Johnson shows how much better of a decorator she is than an orthodontist. If you try to address a concern about the treatment, she will ask you "What do you do for a living?" "Do I tell you how to do your work?" "Don't tell me how to do mine". Less than satisfactory results with my child, I was told I could go to a different orthodontist, and she would recommend one closer to my home, but there would be no refund on the money we paid (paid in full up front). Now my son is undergoing treatment with yet again another orthodontist. They charge about 1/3 less of what Pamela does, and my son's tooth alignment is better after two months of treatment than after her lengthy 3 years. Seems like she specially has trouble with the "final tweaking". I am not the only unsatisfied mo more

Office very nice; office hours not so great. Staff seems to be attentive, yet anything out of their "standard procedure" count on hearing no as your reply, followed by, this is how we do it. Our choice would have been different, had another provider that was recommended to us been in our network, however; looking back - it might have been worth waving the $1,000 insurance coverage. more

    Dr. Pamela Johnson has been in private practice since 1991. Dr. Johnson is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Illinois Society of Orthodontics, and the Midwest Society of Orthodontics Dr. Johnson specializes in orthodontics for both children and adults. Her patients range in age from seven to 76! Her cases involve simple expanders on young children to braces on teenagers to complex adult cases. Dr. Johnson also has experience treating special needs patients.

    Your first appointment in our office offers a complimentary clinical exam to determine your orthodontic needs. Our new patient coordinator will present treatment fees and formulate a customized payment plan for you that will fit into your budget. All insurance or flex spending questions will be answered at this time.
