Dr Keri & Associates

My son was scheduled for a root canal on a baby tooth per x-rays taken at Dr. Keri's office. I choose sedation to make him more comfortable, he is 9 and has tolerated having cavities filled just fine but I didn't want him to have to go through a root canal with just novacine (sp). So first he drinks the $100 juice which is a sedative that could have been prescribed and picked up at pharmacy for $10 co-pay. After 25 minutes or so they bring him into room, have him lay down and the assistant starts to wrap the velcro restraints around him! Mind you, this is not his first visit to the office, he did not need restraints a month prior, why would he need them for this visit. I politely told her he didn't need to be restrained, the sedation was just to make him comfortable during root cancal treatment...which btw sedation cost 175...anyway Dr. comes in, looks at x-ray and decides to take another x-ray. She then says he does not need a root canal, only to have decay removed and a crown. I told assistant I would never have had child sedated for 2 cavities!!!!! She told me ""don't worry, they won't charge you"". So, as I am checking out, mind you I had paid the outrageous sum of $293 prior to my son having work done and this is with ins. The $175 sedation is not covered. I asked to have the charge for sedation reversed as I only had him sedated based on thier diagnosis that he needed a root canal. Several office staff swooped down on me to explain to me that sedation was also behavioral (sp?) management...they repeated this several times, I told them my son didn't need beh. mgt. and I had a service (sedation) preformed based on the fact that they said he needed a root canal. My son is 9, why would he need to be sedated for 2 cavities (and a crown the office staff reminded me). They absolutely refused to reverse the $175 that I had paid for sedation, they even had the nerve to suggest that 1st x-ray maybe not good because perhaps he wouldn't allow them to take x-ray!!!!!!!!!!! So, thanks Dr. Keri, your greediness means that this single mother will have less money for food this month! I was willing to make sacrifice if he needed a root canal but since he did not the right thing for your office to do would be to refund the $175 I paid for sedation that was not needed! I will never ever step foot in the office again, will be filing with better bussiness breau, contacting whoever I need to contact re: dental practices and making sure all friends and family know to never consider using this dentist! BTW the prefab $2.00 silver crown they put in is bothering my son which means it does not fit so I have to take time off work to take him to a different dentist. Absolutely the worst experience ever, horrible uncaring greedy staff. I would give minus 5 stars if it were an option! more

My daughter is five years old and always looks forward to going to all her appts. She makes up lies just for me to take her. Dr Keri and all her staff are very considerate and lovable to everyone around them. My daughter loves all the attention and affection that is given to her. She is only five and already wants braces with Dr Hoss so she too came have a super smile. I have nothing at all negative to say about this office. I highly recommend this office to everyone with small children and teenagers. If I wasnt an adult I would want to come here myself..... I too would like to thank Dr Keri and Staff for my great experience each and every time. Pros: Best Dentists all around more

I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT GOOD SERVICE HERE AT DR KERI'S OFFICE, HER STAFF MEMBERS ARE VERY POLITE AND VERY HELPFUL, I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY CHILDREN TO GER OFFICE FOR 9 YEARS AND SHE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT GREAT WORK ON MY THREE KIDS, THEY LOVE GOING TO HER OFFICE I HAVE NO WORRIES WHEN I TELL MY KIDS ITS CHECK UP TIME THEY LOVE IT THERE, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY RECEIVE IN THE MAIL THERE FOLLOW UP APPT CARDS. I THINK THAT THERE ARE MANY GOOD DENTSIT OUT THERE BUT I CANT AND WONT FIND ONE LIKE DR KERI, WHEN MY 6 YR OLD DAUGHTERS FRONT TEETH NEEDED TO BE PULLED DR KERI'S STAFF THOURGHLY WENT STEP BY STEP TO SAVE THEM FROM THE EMBARRASEMENT OF OTHER CHILDREN SHE WORKED WONDERS AND MY LIL GURL STILL HAS HER FRONT TEETH ONE IS MISSING OF COURSE BEACAUSE IT WAS A BABY TOOTH THAT FELL OUT BUT SHE SMILES WITH PRIDE STILL. MY SON ALSO THE SAME PROBLEM HE'S ONLY 5 AND HE LOVES GOING TO THE DENTIST SO I THANK DR KERI AND HER STAFF FOR MAKING THERE DENTIST VISITS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. more

I was very excited to visit Dr Keri's office. For years I have driven by the office knowing that I would take my kids there. First off, I called and made the appointment... I let them know that this was my daughter's first dental appointment ever. I was scheduled for 11:00 on a Monday. We waited over an hour to be seen. While we were waiting, a mom was complaining of waiting for over an hour for her soon to be treated. I don't mind waiting.... I'm realistic, I know that there is typically a wait at any doctor's or dentist's office. BUT, when we were finally seen... We were RUSHED through a shoddy cleaning. The hygienist was speaking to my 3 year old daughter in a completely ridiculous tone and manner... Telling her if she didn't open her mouth she couldn't have her ""oral exam..."" That is so ridiculous... Anyone could speak to her like that.. These are specialists that are supposed to be caring and patient? Then she was rushed through an even shoddier exam by the dentist. She did not even spend 5 minutes with us. I know that some children are uncooperative... I'm sure that must be extremely frustrating for the dental hygienists and assistants but I thought that was the whole reason they specialized in treating children!!! I thought that a little extra patience and sensitivity would have gone a long way. In any event, since this was my daughter's first exam, I had NO IDEA this was not standard... I was stunned when I left the office. My daughter was hysterical. I realized that we were the last ones in my office. They rushed because they wanted to take their lunch break!!!! Terrible service from terrible people! Hint: Every doctor/dentist's office has a TV in their lobby these days... that does not mean they should market themselves as ""specializing in kids..."" Also, if you have a lunch break at 12... Don't book 6 appointments at 11!!! I WILL TELL EVERYONE ABOUT MY NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!!! more
